"This is a delightful, reasonably priced, and newly refurbished small hotel with heart. Breakfast was solid and fairly priced, and the dining room is especially fresh and pleasant after the renovations. The staff were accommodating and helped us to arrange a taxi to the train station, which arrived promptly. The hotel is a six minute walk from Porta Nigra, so it’s uber convenient for touring the town, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle that sometimes comes to the city center. The owners are charming, too. While there is some small renovations going on as of April 2026, they aren’t annoying, and they are going to make it an even better experience for those who come after.
