Cozy cabin on the River
We enjoyed our stay. It offers a great view of the Pamlico River with a basin to keep boats docked off the main river. The house is well designed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
Very clean and great for fishing or boating. The only issues we had were the internet needs a booster. You can only get on WiFi sitting on one end of the couch. I would recommend a tv upstairs instead of downstairs and lastly the coffee pot. When you brew a pot it smells burnt. These three things will not keep us from coming back. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing. Extremely quiet and it’s great place for total relaxation.

Perfect place for a quiet getaway!
We loved every facet inside and out of this special space. The views of the inter-coastal waterway from the spacious covered porch/deck and the upstairs double window provided all the entertainment we needed. Take your food, your reading materials and your fishing poles and forget about the hustle bustle you're leaving behind. We were equal distance (45 mins) to the vibrant historic towns of Washington (NW) and New Bern (SW), so it's perfect for day trips. Our only regret was how quickly the days passed before we had to leave.
