"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Royal Kalaw Hills Resort. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the food is excellent and the service was personal and everyone was very attentive. Chozin, who manages the resort was particularly helpful and I could always count on her to help me in many capacities. Her English skills are very good and she was able to help tremendously. "We stayed for 3 nights after a trek from Kalaw. The bedrooms are large with the most comfortable beds in Myanmar... and sumptuous white bedding ! Lots of hot water and good a/c. Hotel is on the edge of town so quiet and great for catching up on sleep! Only 10mins walk (5mins cycle) or less to everywhere in town. Hotel provides free bikes to get around. We organised a couple of trips on Inle lake via hotel which was excellent value with good boat drivers who collect you from the hotel - beats...
