"We had a fantastic long weekend at Brucoli Mare 2. We were in Sicily for a family wedding. Joe, the host, was amazing. Very flexible about check-in time and super helpful when we had questions. The villa was clean and air-conditioned and had everything we needed. Would definitely flag up that you need your own transport when staying there. Uber doesn't work and local taxis are very expensive. Nearest supermarket 20/25 mins walk away. Loved our stay. Would definitely go back. "

"Pros: Siamo stati stupendamente...Il posto è risultato ideale per visitare Siracusa e ortigia che erano le.nostre principali mete ma è ottimo per ogni località e bellezza dei dintorni essendo vicino a Taormina, Catania ecc..lontano dal traffico ma vicino a tutto..inoltre si trova a 2 passi (veramente 3 minuti a piedi)dal mare..qui si trovano sia spiaggia di sabbia e ciottoli sia scogli... sono veramente sotto casa ...consigliamo infatti un bagno al tramonto..il pezzo forte sono però i 2...

"Pros: Das Haus war sauber und wunderschön eingerichtet, die Wohnung groß und genügend Platz für 4 Personen. Der Gastgeber Guiseppe war sehr sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, dafür nochmals ein danke. Der Garten und die Dusche waren perfekt und extrem praktisch, genauso wie die Waschmaschine Der Gastgeber gab uns ausreichend Informationen, zum einkaufen, Sehenswürdigkeiten,..... "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Plaza Hotel Catania I had a wonderful experience at Plaza Hotel Catania. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally nice, modern, and comfortable. Although the hotel is not located directly in Catania’s historic center, it’s only a relatively short drive or taxi ride away. I actually preferred being a little removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The location is excellent, right near the sea, with several good restaurants within walking distance. It’s also conveniently located near the airport and other charming seaside towns, making it a great base for exploring the area. On-site parking was available at a very reasonable price, which was another plus. Breakfast was just okay and could use some improvement, but that certainly didn’t detract from my overall experience. Overall, a fantastic stay."

"It was a beautiful property. The artwork on the grounds and inside the hotel were beautiful. If you love animals as much as I do seeing the elephant grace the entrance is magical. We had a room for three overlooking pomegranate trees. Make sure you have the car, although there was a lovely restaurant right across the way called, La Barcacca which was excellent."

"I enjoyed four unforgettable days exploring beautiful Ortigia -staying at the Grand Hotel Ortigia, which is a 5-star luxury hotel overlooking the harbor. It is just a short stroll to the must-see landmarks such as the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Aretusa Fountain, and the renowned Cathedral of Syracuse. it was built in 1890 and was completely renovated while preserving its classic old-world charm with marble floors, Corinthian columns, and beautiful art-filled common areas. They have an upscale rooftop restaurant and lounge on the third floor, which serves a sumptuous breakfast buffet and has great outdoor seating with spectacular views. I went up to the terrace one evening to enjoy the sunset with an Aperol Spritz and some nibbles and, after the sun went down, an exceptionally talented young man beautifully played his violin serenading the guests. Parking in the old city is a challenge, and not for the faint of heart. But the hotel does have a small lot nearby, but which seemed to stay full and was hard to find. With the helpful staff, I was able to register my rental car to allow me to drive to hotel which is in the restricted tourist zone and I moved my car to their lot one evening once the crowds had dissipated a bit. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and even helped arrange a small group boat tour. This hotel truly deserves its name the Grand Hotel Ortigia Siracusa!"
