The owners were extremely helpful when booking. The unit had everything we needed and plenty big enough for 3 people. A very short walk to the town and beach. The beds were comfortable.

Loved the fun shed and free access to use bikes and push chair etc.. small for a family but adequate.. unfortunately there were quite a few ants on the deck and also in the kitchen.. also would be nice to have option of instant coffee instead of just plunger coffee and not have peppermint tea in same jar tainting English breakfast teabags, I guess minor inconveniences which impact impression of stay

Beautiful Getaway

We were in Auckland for the weekend celebrating our sons 8th birthday. We decided to have some family time and spend our final night in Orewa. The cottage was tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Beautiful energy, right next door to new world & in town so we didn’t need to use our vehicle while we were there which was great after the amount of driving we had done. Beautiful location and so happy with our stay ! Will definitely be coming back ❤️

A very cute wee place. Has all you need & more. Has extras like tinfoil & gladwrap even. Very comfortable & so close to shops & beach. New World supermarket right next door. Definitely visit again.

Mini home away from home

Generally clean. Complete amenities. Easy access to shops, restaurants and the beach. Also less than an hour drive to other beautiful beaches. Love waking up to the calming sound of the beach. WiFi a bit difficult. But all in all my family loves this small cabin. A sure hit with the little ones.

Perfect getaway

We had such a great experience, we rebooked another getaway later in the year, while we were there. The cabin was clean and tidy, the location was perfect and the kids loved borrowing the gear from the fun shed. We can't wait to go back.
