Hidden City Townhouse - short walk to Harbour
Quiet and sunny central townhouse with Garage and 2 car spaces. FAST WIFI. SMART TV. AIR CON on first floor. Fans and Heaters in house. Set in a quiet, no-through road behind Victoria Park, close to the fabulous "Wynyard Quarter", this newly decorated and fitted-out house on 3 floors is in a great location for tourists and business people alike. Approached through a high gate for privacy which can be locked - you enter your own private sunny garden, here you can smoke.
On the ground floor, you have a garage and one queen bedroom with adjacent shower room. On the first floor, you have a lovely spacious sitting/dining/kitchen opening onto a terrace with outdoor table and chairs and a barbq.
On the top (second) floor, you have two spacious bedrooms, one with queen bed with its own private terrace and a twin bedded room which can be zipped together to form a king bed. This floor has a spacious shower room between the two bedrooms.
In a 7-8 minute walk, you can be at Wynyard Quarter and the Convention Centre or visit most of the CBD and downtown restaurants, bars and Queen Street shops. The house is set over three floors, with either a terrace or a balcony on each floor. There are two car parks available PLUS a Garage. But you don't need a car here with buses and trains close by; you can walk, Uber or - scooter everywhere which is great fun!
If you are a couple and 2 kids, you may book for 3 if planning to use only the two upstairs bedrooms. But if you are 3 adults and each want a separate bedroom, PLEASE BOOK FOR 4 as the first 2 adults are expected to be in one room. There is a small additional charge of $35 per person after 3 people.
NB: If you have a long haul flight - please consider booking for the extra day so you can relax in the house after an early arrival or late departure. We are often fully booked so can not change the check in time of 2 p.m. and check out time of 11 a.m. We try to accommodate luggage to be dropped off early or left after these times so long as new guests are not inconvenienced.
A welcome snack and fruit platter for your first Breakfast are provided on arrival. We provide a 'running pantry' with many oils, sauces, herbs where guests can use and replace what they use up or add to the larder. Supermarket is 5 mins walk away. You can walk to the Wynyard Quarter harbour front and Fish Market in about 7 minutes and from there to the main Marina and central harbour restaurants and bars in another 5-10 minutes.
Please ask for any other advice or information you may need. Host can do a small shop for you if you will be arriving late. There is a Nespresso machine but please bring your favourite pods. We provide plunger coffee for your first day or two and a variety of teas.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property! Great location for getting about Auckland. Paula was a fantastic host from check in to making sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
The townhouse was located right in the city and was a perfect location. Property was well kept and very nice. Paula was excellent and answered any questions that I had.

A very quaint, secluded location. Just a few blocks from the pier and downtown. We were there over New Year’s Eve and enjoyed the fireworks from the park (a block away). Our host was available if I had questions and everything was self-explanatory on how to use the self-explanatory on Thoroughly enjoyed our time!
We loved our stay at this property for 5 days. Easy walk to the wharf, lots of restaurants to pick from. We ate in a few nights too and the kitchen was well stocked to make that easy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The townhome was very modern and clean. We were a short walk from both the Sky Tower and Viaduct Harbour. There was also easily accessible public transportation nearby. Our host was very communicative and even left us a fruit and charcuterie platter for our arrival!
Clean well equipped property in a brilliant location, could not be more central or convenient. Property owners were extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Would 100% recommend it.
Spacious accommodation and well stocked ( had ground coffee and pods for brewing prior to exploring Auckland. A def plus as other accommodations had instant or none!) hospitable with both a fruit and savory platter available upon our arrival. Responsive to our questions. Wonderful experience!
Easy to walk down to all the restaurants on Auckland's waterfront, and into the CBD. Comfortable and quiet. Kitchen/lounge is on the 2nd floor, bedrooms/baths on 1st and 3rd, so this townhouse is not appropriate for anyone with ambulatory issues or toddlers. But it was perfect for my husband and I. Great little kitchen and nice to have deck space and lots of room. Would definitely stay here again.
This was the first trip to New Zealand for our 19 year-old twins and my husband and I, celebrating milestone birthdays, and anniversary. Our flight arrived at 6 AM so we rented the unit for an extra night so we could arrive directly from the airport. The apartment was comfortable, spotless, and an easy walk to restaurants at the lively Viaduct harbor. Paula was very responsive and treated us to a fruit plate when we arrived. Her restaurant recommendations are spot on. This experience provided the perfect introduction to NZ.

Great location
Would recommend. Well located - perfect for fireworks on new year and access to the harbour and the town. Compact house but rooms good size. Check in was complicated by deadline for access code which was too early and check out felt rushed at the end by the presumption of what time we would leave rather than check out time. We prefer the host not to turn up during our stay even to return items they have borrowed and felt easier ignoring this request
The house was perfect for our group of 5 female singers while we competed at the Victory. Very clean, quiet, easy to find and walk to and from the city and water front. The welcome platter & fruit nibbles were perfect for after our flight, the little things make all the difference. The beds were super comfortable, 2 bathrooms great for a larger group of women who take forever to get ready ha ha. We will definately book again and recommend to our friends. Stayed at this property for a week our family of 5 with three kids and a family member visiting from overseas. I selected this property for its ability to accommodate the size of our group and the location within the city and it did not disappoint. The Viaduct/Wynyard Quarter are so close by, along with Sky City/Sky Tower and the Queen Street shops. We had a rental car mid-way through out trip to travel out of town and access to the motorway is also close by. I also appreciated having not just a parking spot but an internal garage. Something to note about the location, despite being in the city, it is very quiet at night. So the location is great. Even the fact that there is a grocery store within a 10 minute walk was nice.The property itself was very clean and in good condition. It was easy to just settle in and relax. Just a note that this is a multi-level unit but there is a bedroom on the ground floor. A mention that as we had a family member who wasn't a fan of the stairs so it was nice that they had the option to stay downstairs. We also appreciated having a full kitchen, which was well stocked. A nice perk over staying in a hotel.Communication and instructions/info about the property from the owner was very clear.We were very happy with our stay and can fully recommend it to others.
Great location for us to explore Auckland as a family, plus space for everyone. Communication was great with the host and she went above and beyond to make sure we were fed and entertained upon arrival.
