This location (1h20m from central Auckland) is perfect to relax and unwind or to be active with walking, swimming (boulder beach), biking, kayaking, or fishing. The sea is in front of you and the view of the Coromandel Peninsula across the Firth of Thames is stunning. The upstairs living room, kitchen and dining face the sea and on this level there there are two bedrooms, and a bathroom . Two of the four bedrooms, and a bathroom, are downstairs. On the upper level decks north and east provides a delightful perch over the vast bay. There are lawns at the front and the back of the house. The Waharau Regional Park just down the road offers several flat and hilly tracks for varying levels of fitness, and - for real walking enthusiasts - the Hunua range is accessible from the park. The closest shop is 9 kms south at Kaiaua, a seaside village where you can rent a bike, buy fish & chips, petrol and there is a pub for drinks or meals. Thames township is a 45 minute drive, and the gorgeous Tapapakanga (coastal) Regional Park is 12 minutes north by car.
