"Parking was frustrating. The amenities were amazing! It was an amazing experience! I really enjoyed myself. I was a little confused when no staff was there just by via text/phone but that’s okay as they were available to answer questions."

"The property was so much nicer than pictures were able to show. It was very clean and artistically cozy. Beds and linens were extremely comfortable and the kitchen very nice and very well appointed. The back yard patio area was delightfully private and relaxing. Loved being able to walk to the center of town for lunches and dinners and the liked the close proximity to Longwood Gardens. The Host was extremely communicative and helpful throughout our stay. We totally loved our time at Homey Retreat and will definitely plan to stay there in the future!"

"From the outside, it appears to be a non-descriptive roadside motel. But the interior is nicely appointed. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The shower is modern with half glass enclosure. The check-in process is well explained by the operator. There is no office. Yue’s the code to open the digital lock yourself. When you checkout, you just punch in the checkout code and close the door. The only downside is the wall A/C which is loud and we had ti turn it off overnight which made the room hot."

"This was perfect for our week stay in Kenneth Square. The property is just as described and all the photos accurate. It was well stocked and then some! We appreciated the air conditioning as it was summertime and we live in a cooler climate. The neighborhood is located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and even an awesome library."

"This is a second-floor, street facing apartment on the main downtown street of Kennett Square. The rain on the day I arrived, plus the one-way streets and narrow entrance lane, caused me to circle the block a couple of times, but the owner's description of the location in relation to the library helped. This was a generously-sized apartment, with the best kitchen I've ever had in a vacation rental. (Thank you to the owner for the half and half in the fridge!) Light filled the kitchen and living room from windows on two sides. I was initially slightly concerned about noise, as the property is in a building with other apartments and at least one other vacation rental, and I could hear people speaking during the day and evening, but it quieted at night and sleeping was no problem. I did not use the 2nd bedroom, but in the larger bedroom, room-darkening curtains, along with the slatted blinds, were a big plus. Very clean. Conveniently situated; an easy walk to various restaurants and shops. There is a Giant supermarket about a mile away. If you're in the area, I recommend tours of N.C. Wyeth's and Andrew Wyeth's studios, Longwood Gardens, and the delightful Chanticleer Garden."
