"My husband and I had a great stay at the the Microtel hotel in Opelika. The front desk staff was courteous and efficient. The room was clean and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was better than most of the complimentary breakfasts offered by hotels. All for a good price. We will definitely be back!"

"Simple, clean, coffee, water (by the gym) available all day... Ample parking. Coffee is a great perk when leaving at 4 am for a flight. If you don't need to be walking distance from AU, hands down best pick, if the hotel itself is the priority and not the warm fuzzy welcome. Definitely would stay again. Much better than other area hotels. Including previously stayed at townplace suites and the graduate. I would stay here again, would not stay at either of the other places again. And if necessary, DD, and some fast food places walking distance."

"The place was clean and in good repair. The hotel breakfast was adequate and about what you would expect. The room smelled a little musty until I turned the Air Conditioner on and then it was fine. The staff was very friendly and accomodating."
