"Horrible experience. The room door did not close, it would not lock so we were at the mercy of whoever wanted to come in. When we told the front desk staff they told us they were full and couldn’t give us another room. Then magically at 7pm a room “opened up” and we were given keys only to walk into someone else’s room, who were very much still staying there. When we told the front desk his first question was “did you see people?” Not, “I’m so sorry” that didn’t come until we told him we wouldn’t be staying there. Zero stars, stay very far away from this place. I mean, we had a good laugh but that was only so we didn’t cry. "

"Tru is a great low cost option for visiting the Camillus/Syracuse area. The location is convenient and the price is right. The rooms are somewhat spartan, more appropriate as a place to sleep than a place to stay. Our room overlooked the very nearby Costco and we had to listen to a generator hum all night. Not ideal, but not insurmountable. Will almost certainly stay there again, but I can't imagine ever looking forward to it."
