This place was honestly just grimy. Brown spots on my towel. Black spots on my bedding. No hand soap, face wash, or body wash when I checked in. When I asked about soap (had to ask twice and couldn’t reach the desk by phone), they gave me two bar soaps to wash the hands and bodies of three prople. Asked for more soap and was told they were out. How are you out of soap as a hotel??? The sliding bathroom door also had a lock that didn’t work so make sure you’re comfy with whoever you’re staying with. Also tried to order a brownie from the restaurant (fandangle’s I believe it’s called) and had to wait at the bar for over an hour for my takeout order because apparently the kitchen didn’t want to make my order. On top of that valet is $45!!!

Convenient location close to everything we wanted to see and do. The rooms were clean but need to be updated. Our bathtub drained very slowly for some reason. Expedia should also make customers who reserve this hotel aware of the additional $25/day resort fee.

This property was probably great 20 years ago. The pictures make it look nice but it is currently in a state of disrepair. Hot tub has been covered over with a stage and the front desk employees were telling guest that there was still a usable hot tub in the hotel. Furthermore, we ended up changing rooms 3 times due to it being dirty, mold issues and lastly natural gas smell. We ended up checking out a day early because we we’ve had enough. I would highly recommend staying at a different property closer to Olympic park.

Only offer valet parking and was not made aware of this until the day the before trip ($45 a night). I feel like the hotel overall was decent but they nickel and dime you for everything including internet. Also charge you a $100 deposit when you arrive and unsure when I’ll receive that back.

Came for the Shaky Knees festival. Very close and walkable not only to the festival, but prime spots downtown. Hotel was quiet, staff friendly, and a great price especially given all of the activities going on that particular weekend.

The bolt to the room door was,broken, and their was no valet parking. The AC in the room was set to 45F and it still was about 98F in the room. They only gave you a one time $10 for food, no matter how long and how many were in your room. The refrigerator was left open so it never cooled. The main restaurant that they advertised so highly was closed. Even though the internet and signs said it was open. There was no tray for your bathroom dish soap. So after washing your hands the soap had to be set on the counter. Yuck!

The hotel was ok, but our room was not properly cleaned (we found personal items belonging to previous guests in our room). Our room was also overly-humid, and our bathroom was missing a body wash pump (it looked like it had been ripped from the wall). We reported this to the front desk but it was never addressed. Some stains on the carpet and furniture gave the room a dirty feel, and there were dirty sheets in the hallway outside of our room. Also, one (of two) of the elevators was broken.

I was checked into a room which already had an occupant!!!! Need I say more? The staff at the reception was stiff, and it looked like they were doing me a favor by checking me in- and did nothing to compensate me for the mental stress and trauma of checking me into a room occupied by an inebriated man! No apologies, no follow through - zilch. Horror place! Never will I step my foot in here again or recommend anyone I know

My stay at this hotel was a nightmare from start to finish. The $45 valet parking fee seemed like a rip-off, especially considering the horror that followed. Overnight, cars, were broken into, with windows smashed and belongings stolen. The lack of security and safety measures is appalling. Upon entering my first room, I was greeted by a horrifying sight—there was actual feces dripping down the bed, wet carpets, and a distinct smell of mildew that permeated the entire room. The AC unit was non-functional, making the already uncomfortable room unbearable. Thankfully, I was moved to another room, but the relief was short-lived. The replacement room had its own set of issues—the AC barely worked, the carpets were still damp, and the noise from the pool area kept me up all night. It felt like there was no escape from the chaos. To top it off, the experience at the hotel restaurant was equally disappointing. The service was excruciatingly slow, and when the food finally arrived, it was subpar at best. Overall, this was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I would strongly advise against staying here unless you enjoy living in a state of perpetual discomfort and disappointment.

When we booked the hotel we were excited for the pool and jacuzzi from the photos. However we booked the same week (unknowingly) that a Dance competition was taking place so the hotel was run with children ranging from 5-17 everywhere and practicing in the lobbies and hallways each night and day. Unfortunately as well the jacuzzi was down while we were there so that was upsetting as well. Atlanta has an issue with loud cars and tons of traffic and we could hear every bit of it each night.

Had a great experience here. First night was in a room in the north tower overlooking the pool on the 3rd floor. Very clean and quiet. Second night was in the south tower on the street side on the 7th floor. Street noise was very loud all night on a Saturday night, not the hotels fault but something to be aware of.

This property was EXCELLENT for the price. Conveniently located, friendly and professional staff, very nice rooms and amenities. We had a great experience and would highly recommend. You really can't do better for that price point. The only area of improvement worth mentioning was that it did take quite a while to get in the facility and get our truck into vallet but once that was done, the entire experience was smooth sailing.

Overall I enjoyed my stay at this property and probably would stay here again, mostly due to its location.- however, two things I disliked; one, the carpet need changing. Full stop. And the more or better lighting is needed in the bathroom. When I drew the shower curtain, it blocked out the little light that was there. The second thing that irked me very much, is the solicitation by the “Travel Company”. Not sure if they are Courtland staff or an independent company, but after a long flight and checking into the hotel, I don’t need some random tour company offering me travel packages. I was so pissed off and annoyed. Like put the information out or have the hotel put the leaflet into the room and we can decide whether to read it or bin it. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. Got more towels when I asked for it. The pool was clean (I didn’t itch after my swim). The breakfast coupons. I would stay here again.

The staff that were there were great. However, valet parking was backed up to the point the street was congested with people waiting. They did the best they could but just very limited staff. Check in… well again, limited staff for lots of people trying to check in. In used e-check in but no one was staffing that particular desk. Many people seemed to be having check in issues and tied up the only staff working the desk. As for the room. It was nice. The heat/air fan is VERY loud. Keep in mind it’s downtown Atlanta. Very busy congested area.

This hotel is alright. They need to do a better job at housekeeping. At most hotels, housekeeping comes by everyday that you are there. Housekeeping did not come in at all to get the trash, change out bed sheets, towels or anything. Some of the sheets or towels were stained which maybe they were clean but that’s still not always fun to see. When I checked in, they didn’t have any bags in the trash. There was only 1 water bottle even though they said there was supposed to be 2 for both guests. The soap they had was facial soap and you’re supposed to use that for your hands I guess. The elevators close extremely fast so you have to be ready to get on as soon as another guest gets off. Then, the key stopped working randomly after I’d been there for a day. I had to go and get a new one. Then my guest’s key also stopped working and she hadn’t even been there for a full day. Lastly, my allergies were very bad when I got to town. I could feel them get worse every time I got to the hotel. Like I would start sneezing and my nose would close up more. Clearly the air quality is bad. So yeah, this hotel could do better.

The location is what drew us to this hotel and unfortunately that was the only thing that was good about it. They advertise free parking when that is not the case, you are required to valet park at $45 a day. We requested a crib 2 weeks prior to arriving and were told none were available when we arrived. The room's shampoo and soap dispensers were empty and the bathroom didn't even have a bar of soap - we requested this many times during our stay and never received any. We were actually discussing this in the hallway and 4 other people we passed confirmed their rooms did not have any soap either - gross. They state they have sound proof rooms, but we were up all night to people banging, running, and yelling in the halls and even upstairs. Just disappointing quality for the price.

The rooms were dated and honestly gross. The tables were sticky and the carpets stained. It’s way overpriced for the quality of the hotel.
