"Nice apartment on the inside. HOWEVER, air conditioning barely works when weather in Athens is very warm and the hot water is spotty. This is an apartment in an old building with difficult parking around and self check-in/out. The pricing is absolutely unreasonable for the place and the lack of AC/hot water. Not only this, but the place denies such issues. Unacceptable. "

"The positive part first - The location is good – walking distance to the Glyfada center and HopOn-HopOff bus. The apartment is quiet. The rest – not so much. The host sent incorrect check-in instructions - We were told keys are in lockbox hanging on the stairs railing. The actual location was 20 m away, not even in the apartment building, but on a wall next to the covered parking and mailboxes. Positives: - Walking distance to Mediterraneo hospital (we were there for surgery)- Close to metro station (10-15 minute walk), which gave convenient access to tourist areas in Athens. "Lovely property and definitely worth the stay. We stayed in a family suite which had 2 twin beds and a separate bedroom. It was a perfect size for a family of 4. The grounds are stunning and well kept. The japanese restaurant on-site was very good. This place has the potential to be a world class 5 star resort with some minor adjustments. We stayed 8 nights at the hotel. Breakfast was included for us and we went every morning. In all 8 days, we were never greeted by a server, never asked if we wanted anything to drink, and half the time, we set our own table with utensils and cups from the server station. I think this boils down to training issues and/or short staff, however, we have been to 5 star hotels in the area that had the same layout and the service was much better. The same can be said about the dinner restaurant buffet. We went one time and it was mediocre and expensive for what you got. The beach area and restaurants were much better in terms of service & food quality, although, 3 "managers" that walked around did nothing. We asked them for simple requests, like the check, or some butter and instead of just grabbing it themselves, they waited to find a server to tell, and by the time the server got around to it, 15 minutes have past or they forgot. Regardless, I would totally stay again and look forward to it. The rest of the staff in the hotel was friendly and attentive. The area is convenient and nice towns a couple mins away. Just minor tweaks to become 5 star."
