"The hotel was an excellent choice for us with great staff! The area boasts fantastic restaurants within minutes away. Don’t be put off by the graffiti in the streets. We felt safe and comfortable. A few blocks walk to the hop on hop off bus which is a great way to see the city!!! Highly recommend this hotel. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Altar Suites. The property is situated in a very central area and offers spectacular views of the major historical sites. We were greeted by the friendly staff and they were all very enthusiastic and polite. We definitely recommend this property. "

"Location of the property is in an alley so a big van or shuttle would not be able to drop you off directly. The property is center of a lot of bars and restaurants. The only issue are the elevators. It's small (can fit 1 person and 1-2 luggage at a time) and it can take awhile to get down if you have a lot of luggages. Overall the staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay here again."

"Some other reviews have mentioned it is in a seedy neighbourhood, only if you went looking for it. The Suites are ultra clean, modern and safe. Added bonus's are many lovely bars, cafe's, and the hop on hop off bus is just across the road."
