We enjoyed our stay. The rooftop had a beautiful view of the city and the acropolis. The hotel manager was very helpful arranging taxis to and from the airport. The room was exactly as described/ pictured.

All is great and impressive they replace every day the towel and clean up kitchen. Towel normally in regular hotel is not replaced everyday. On the 3rd day they replace also the blanket of bed that is impressive. The dress cabinet needs to be replaced as it is already with tear and wear condition.

The property was in the perfect location in downtown Athens. Joanna greeted us and was basically our Greek mother while we were there. 10/10 would stay there again and recommend it to anyone traveling.

Excellent location within Athens at a great price! The room felt like home with a kitchenette, couch, and coffee table with a great view of the streets. Also incredible rooftop view! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful in answering all questions. I would love to stay here again should I ever visit Athens in the future!

We stayed at the place for only one night between an island ferry and a flight out of Greece. The place was easy to find and everything worked smoothly. It has a great location that is walkable to all of the old town. There is also paid parking in 3 walking minutes distance. There is also a roof terrace from which you can see the Akropolis. We can highly recommend staying there!

I loved the location. Convenient to the major attractions including the Acropolis and Museum, The Agora, the Plaka, and Archaeological Museum. Views from the rooftop was the perfect way to end your day. I loved the staff and their warm hospitality. I will definitely stay here again the next time I visit Athens.

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is prime for shopping, access to archaeological sites, and wonderful restaurants. There was an election going on, so noise on the street was the only downside, the host Joocn (Joanna) was absolutely delightful and super helpful. The building has tons of character and a fabulous roof top patio with a view of the city.

I had the most enjoyable stay. Very much enjoyed meeting, eating and having a few beverages with the owner and his friends. The view from the rooftop is amazing and the area is close enough to the central area (10-minute walk) to distance from the bulk of the tourists. It was a super easy walk to the flea market (3 minutes) and to Ancient Agora of Athens (4 minutes) The room was clean, quiet and convenient. Will stay again.

The hotel is within walking distance from local flea markets, dinning and archeological sites which was convenient for us. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. It’s a small hotel approx 12-14 rooms. We only saw the the guest service personnel twice. Just fyi, to conserve energy, the lights and AC only work when someone is in the room. You’ll need to place the key fob in a slot to activate the electricity. So it took the room a bit longer to cool off which was a little inconvenient after walking all day in the heat.

A Must-go with a Gorgeous Acropolis View

We absolutely loved our stay at the Athens version. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and if they weren't available there was a phone number that we could text at all times. Housekeeping left the room in wonderful condition every single day, there was a nice climate unit in our apartment which adapted really well. Next to the hotel on the ground floor is a wonderful food establishment that had beautiful music every night that we opened our window to listen to. And if music's not your thing closing the window keeps it more than quiet enough! We will be recommending this hotel to all of our friends and family as they come to Athens. Last but not least, is the breathtaking view of the Acropolis on the roof of the hotel. And if the Acropolis is not your cup of tea, you can see various different churches and other ruins. While on top of the roof! We got a room where we could see the temple of Hephaestus through our window! 10 out of 10 would recommend! The location is super near Monastiraki and Thissio Metro stations, and a lot of shopping and flea markets! Also, the food scene near the hotel is some of the best food we've had in Athens!

loud music played until 2am in the morning, can't sleep. Claimed to be temple view. However, you can not see the temple unless you open the window, stick your head outside, and turn 90 degree. No onsite manager most of the time. Also she is making things overly complicated. All the password can be printed on one page of paper, and handed out to guest in 1 minutes instead of spending 30 minutes trying to explain.

Nice, clean, studio apt in great location. Was nice to have microwave, needs a small dining set. More like a vacation rental with daily room services than a hotel - very limited staff hours at stairwell landing /lobby. No elevator, hard low beds and furniture, very small but manageable bathroom. Blaring rock music track from outside repeating for hours very disturbing on first night. Owners attentive and accommodating however, small pad lock on stored luggage was missing at pickup. Nothing else noticeable missing.

Stayed for a week at The Athens Version Luxury Suites in a Superior room with a view of the Temple of Hephaestus and very happy that we chose this hotel. The hotel is perfectly located near Monastiraki Square and is a short 5 minute walk to the Monastiraki Metro station. There is a rooftop patio with an excellent view of the Acropolis and we enjoyed having drinks in the evening relaxing and looking out over the city. The location was perfect. Within a 3-minute walk there are probably 20 restaurants, and dozens more within a 15 minute walk. We were also able to walk to the Parthenon, the Ancient Agora, Syntagma Square, and Plaka. The room was clean and had a nice selection of coffees and teas. It included a kitchen sink, refrigerator, and microwave. The air conditioner kept us cool in the 90F degree heat. Olga, who greeted us upon arrival and showed us around, is a true angel. She arranged transportation for us to and from the airport. On the day we were supposed to check out my wife got sick and Olga arranged for a doctor to come to our room. If you are looking for a place that is centrally located, clean, with great views, and excellent service, I highly recommend Athens Version Luxury Suites!

Small narrow hotel with mini 2 person or person/luggage elevator. Rooms are large with 2 or 3 per floor. Had help with luggage taken up to room upon arrival (several trips) but had to haul our own down at checkout. Very convienient location. Walking to shopping and restaurants. Needed to flip breaker every time for hot water and wait or take a cold shower. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Maid serviced every day.

First and foremost, Julius (the owner) was so incredibly helpful and friendly!!! Our bags were delayed 24hrs and helped guide us to pharmacies/etc, AND waited for our bags our first full day in Athens, so we could sightsee. He was also incredible at setting up car service from the airport. His property is a 5 floor boutique hotel IN EUROPE. Pls do not judge the property based on US standards (and sound like a typical American). Again, this is Europe, where elevators can be much smaller, rooms and bathrooms much smaller, and things are just different. We have been around thw world and LOVED 95% about this place! Owner, cleanliness, LOCATION WAS SPECTACLE (food, sights, shopping & strolling), etc... All A++. Plaka is the old town where almost everyone should stay! We stayed on the 4th floor in 402, which had 3 beds for the 4 of us. 2 were pullouts, but once again, don't judge! --- it was perfedt for what we needed! There was a terrific shower + refrigerator and microwave. I STRONGLY suggest Juilus' hotel over a typical airbnb, where u have no interface with anyone (in case there are problems OR you just need good advice). The big hotels are not in Plaka so u will spend time and money getting there. Plus they are more expensive in most cases. BTW- The 5% is just because nothing is 100% perfect (when on a family budget), but this place is ad close as one could hope for when traveling oversees!
