綺麗で使いやすいゲストハウスでした。スタッフの方もみなさんとても親切でした。各種観光地へのアクセスも良いですが、治安の悪いエリアにあることと、夜もそこそこ騒がしいところだけが難点です。 朝食も付いていましたが、内容は無いよりはマシ程度のものでした。オレンジジュースは最高に美味しかったです。

We loved our stay and had an excellent time! The adorable and lovely Yota in the front desk staff was our favorite. She made our stay very special and she was always so helpful. I know a lot of people talk about the noise of this place, especially on Sundays, but it didn't bother us too much at all and the building certainly wasn't vibrating. I would say that people who don't love the noise should definitely look for another option, but I really didn't feel like it was that bad. Also, I don't think people took into account the giant rave happening just across the street in the meat market just off Athinas street. That was probably the true source of the noise, but it's just a theory. Breakfast is awesome! I highly recommend getting it included in your stay. It consisted of either eggs or yogurt. I will say that the kitchen space left something to be desired. I hope the staff can hold guests more accountable for cleanliness and maintenance. Also, all the cutlery disappeared from the kitchen, and then magically appeared one day. I feel like there just needs to be better kitchen rules and tools overall. But don't let this part of the review fool you. Selina is an excellent place for what I would call flexible people who find joy in all things and aren't super nitpicky about small things. If you hold very specific expectations of how a facility should be maintained, I would suggest booking a stay with a high-end hotel that will wait on you hand and foot.

Clean, comfortable beds/linens. Bar/restaurant on roof great drinks and atmosphere..little spendy for drinks but not terrible. Market is 1 block away. Restaurants a plenty in short walk. Hopefully something becomes of the ruins found right across the street.

The roof top restaurant and bar is spectacular. Great food, reasonably priced, great music and a cool vibe. The view of the Acropolis is amazing too.

First of all, I won't book this or any property the REQUIRES the installation of their app on my phone (now deleted and rated). Second, when we arrived to check in, we waited (with others) for at least 10 minutes for someone to appear. Third, the room was in very poor condition. The few places to hang towels or clothes were either loose or broken off completely. There was no safe in the room. The breakfast was good and the view from the rooftop excellent. Wouldn't stay here again.

Selina Athens Hostel Review
The hostels appearance was very nice, the beds were comfortable and the hostel itself was very clean. My disappointment lies in that a majority of bathrooms stalls didn't have locks on the doors and people walked in on me quite often which was very uncomfortable. The reception staff also could have been a bit more welcoming but all in all I give it a 6/10.

we loved our stay at selina theatrou and would definitely stay here again. we booked a private standard and it was just what we needed. the room is spacious, the staff are friendly and it’s located just outside of monastiraki square. just a 10 minute walk from the metro and 25(ish) to the acropolis. the only weary thing was when our driver dropped us off he warned us not to walk “down” from the hostel, only upwards, as down headed towards a bit of a crime led area he said. following his instructions we had the best experience at selina. the rooftop bar is nice and the view is unmatched. the only thing i would warn is that it can get a bit loud. overall id rate it a 9/10 and would recommend to anyone travelling to athens!!

Check in staff were friendly and helpful. Rooftop terrace was great and the bed was comfortable. Good location. However, we never had our room cleaned over four days. There was a clothes rack but no wardrobe or shelves, so it was hard to keep the room tidy.

The staff is very friendly and professional. Do everything in their power to make you feel conformable and have a great time. The location is very convenient, it is close to many restaurants and access to public transportation. Room is clean and nice. The roof top is great. Has an amazing view to the acropolis. it is a bit noisy when there are parties but if you are a party person this will be like heaven :).

This hostel was within walking distance of all the city’s major attractions. I had bought a 3-day metro pass and in the end only used it twice (to get to and from airport). Staff is really nice, they quickly gave me a new access card to my room when I lost it. Pre-paid breakfast is cheap and alright if you’re on a budget (only 3 euro). However, it can get noisy (especially in the upper floors below the rooftop) late at night, so keep that in mind if you want a good night’s sleep. I am a solo female traveler and was able to make good friends to hang out and explore with from my shared dorm.

This property is cool! The staff was great and communicated well with all the questions we had about check in and transportation. The room was very comfortable with soft towels, sheets and duvets. It was clean and we loved our room. The area surrounding the hotel was questionable at first glance but then you realize most of Athens is covered with graffiti and a bit dirty. We never felt unsafe and it was a close walk to a bunch of great places! We would stay again if back in Athens!

Our experience was a tale of two half’s. We booked a private room with bathroom, we were put in room 809 which is on a floor full of dorms. The hallway was really noisy: slamming doors, music, way into the night (1am). The room was also mouldy and you could hear the pipes loudly gurgling everytime someone flushed a toilet or had a shower. We were moved into another room on level 2, a level which only has private rooms - and the contrast was huge! Room was perfectly silent! If we had been put straight into the room on L2 I would be writing a rave review, however it really is ‘luck of the draw’ and if you do end up with dorms you may aswell have booked a dorm room because you can hear all the conversations anyways! For a hostel this is great - we loved the rooftop, the yoga classes and library. If you are looking for a private hotel room, unfortunately book somewhere else.

Nice rooftop to visit
The Hotel is very good located in the center of Athens and you can reach the attractions by feet. The rooftop is amazing and you can see Acropolis. The staff was very friendly. The Check-In was a Little bit stress cause they wanted us to download an App etc and when this didn’t work we did it the old way. So a bit time loss. But other then that, it was very pleasant and they were very helpful with the taxi booking. The bar on the rooftop is the highlight. Even non guests come for this.

Clean and nice hostel
I stay there for one night and on the 8th floor in an 8-bed room. The room is spacious and clean, with two restroom/shower rooms inside. The bed has privacy curtain and sheet/pillow case is clean. Surrounding is not noisy at all night time. A balcony gives you the view of Acropolis in the distance. 9th floor is a terrace with bar/restaurant, and view is great. Community kitchen is large and clean, too. Overall a good experience exceeding my expectation for a hostel!

Came here with my two kiddos (aged 10&12). Room was perfect, location is pretty much the best ever with the incredible market around it, great eating and awesome walks through the old city to get to the main sites. The staff were so helpful all the time and always available. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay at Selina Athens. The staff were amazing and the rooftop restaurant is fantastic (the view, the food, the staff…. perfect!!!) It’s in a great area and a few minutes walk from main attractions, shops, bars, restaurants etc. The bed was ultra comfy and the room was spotless with a fabulous power shower! 😁 I enjoyed chatting to other travellers staying at the Selina…..all extremely friendly. It has been truly wonderful. Apart from when one of the staff came into my room unannounced, at around 9pm, to rescue a man trapped out of his room on the balcony?? [wrong room] 😳I have nothing negative to say. Amazing and thanks so much. Lots of love.
