Highly recommended

This boutique hotel is at a perfect location, within one block to the famous Ermou street and just a few minutes of walking to the Syntagma Square. The staff is friendly and eager to help. Having breakfast at the street is a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Dwell in Athens for the first portion of our honeymoon. Room was clean and spacious, and the location is central to all major attractions. The included breakfast is FANTASTIC! And, we had it served on our patio each morning. Staff were generally friendly. Check in-and-out was easy.

Our stay at Dwell

Overall, a good hotel – friendly staff, great location, and tasty food. However, we experienced several issues. First, despite prior confirmation of a room with three separate beds, we were given a double bed and a small, uncomfortable rollaway bed instead. From our first day, we also had a persistent ant problem throughout the room, which the staff couldn’t resolve. Due to full occupancy, we couldn’t be moved to another room. Despite the inconvenience, there was no gesture of compensation or effort to make up for the discomfort. In summary, a disappointing experience.

The AC didn’t work in the room and it was so hot and stuffy all night. Due to the reception not being manned, there was nothing we could do. Even though we complained about it earlier, we were told to just wait but it never started working. The hotel couldn’t compensate for it not working, just offered us wine the next day but it was a total ordeal. Looking at reviews it seems to be quite a known thing that their ACs don’t work. Suggest they fix it properly and stop gaslighting their guests.

charmigt hotell. När vi kom var vi lite överrumplade över hur litet det vara, med bara ett liten kaffebar som reception. Men allt fungerade utmärkt är läget är toppen. Frukostarna tog ett tag att få fram, men det kan knappast begäras mer - och när de kom var de jättegoda.
