We had a brilliant stay at Max Brown! The staff were friendly, location was great and central, the room was clean and spacious enough for two people. The breakfast had good options although I would probably opt out next time. Would definitely recommend staying here, and I’ll be sure to come back when I’m next in Athens!

The rooms are super clean - small but nice! The staff is amazing, super helpful & welcoming The AC units are perfect, the room was reqlly cold vs the outside It's very close to everything... we didn't have to take any cab/bus , a max of 20 min walk was needed and the neighbourhood is super safe! Much recommend

Super clean and nice room. Appreciate the design they put into it. The area is loud and feels slightly unsafe at night if you're walking around. This is no fault of the hotel just the environment. It's super close to nice cafes and restaurants and the metro. Really enjoyed our stay.

The room was pretty clean, housekeeping changed our towels everyday. Staff were very helpful, they let us check in early and check out an hour later with no extra charge. Room size was fair for the price and the location was excellent and close to everything. Will book again if we ever come back!

The hotel is very good in a great location, just a 30-minute walk from the Acropolis, with many shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast isn't excellent but it's good. The room is small but has a comfortable bed and even a mini-fridge, which is rare for hotels in Europe. The bathroom is cramped but has a good shower.

We’ve just come back from a wonderful stay. The friendliest team, a great central location, fabulous quirky rooms and extra little touches. Really really Superb value, lovely breakfast. The hotel is the cheapest I found in Europe. The bed is amazing. Also, they pur reaconditionator, which is importa for long hairs. Everything was perfect. The area where is located is not the best, but the police station is just crossing the street, and the metro us only one block away. Forbthe price, it worth it!

Great spot to stay in Athens! Felt very safe the entire time, lots of great options to eat nearby. AC didnt work in the room but that wasn't a big deal. Rooftop patio is excellent but it is all BYOB and no bar on site. Hot tub was nice and clean up there and open 24/7

Good location to visit main sites, about 20 mins walk max. Area directly around the hotel a bit run down but good eateries and a shopping centre close by. Room was functional, nice to have a terrace. Big shower and good sized bathroom. Towels weren’t always clean. Big bed.

Stayed for 2 nights after a cruise. The hotel is a small boutique hotel with a small room with no place for luggage. The washroom is quite big with a large shower and a door. The decor is very retro with a record player but not necessary. The room has no closet so we didn't unpack anything. There is a small fridge but didn't get too cold. The air conditioning worked great. The bed was firm with really large pillows?. Not conventional pillows. The optional breakfast was not great. A greek salad isn't my idea of breakfast. They had bread to toast, with jam and butter, croissants and a sweet bun. Not worth in my opinion the 8 euros they were asking. They do offer free coffee and water which is a nice feature. Next door is a bakery that did a great omelette breakfast for 6 euros. The staff were great and informative. The rooftop patio was a nice place in the evening to watch the sunset. Unfortunately the hot tub, roof bar and the bar in the lounge were not functioning. The hotel was recently sold and permits aren't in place yet. Convenient walk to Monastiraki square, Plaka,various ruins, Parliament buildings and to the Acropolis.
