15 min walk to Acropolis, if you’re not used to being in a city ie NYC, Philly, DC… you will probably not be comfortable in that neighborhood.

It is a nice hotel with very friendly staff, the rooms are comfortable and clean, it is very well located to access the Metro.

The room adjacent to ours had several women staying in it. They came into the room at 2:30am talking very loudly and slamming doors and laughing. After about 30 minutes of enduring this I called the front desk. They called the room and spoke to someone however the noise continued for another 30 minutes. Very poor sound insulation.

Nice Hotel!

The hotel is nicely located. Close to a metro station with good connections to Syntagma and Monastiraki squares. Room are spacious and comfortable and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. However, breakfast is very basic. The variety is poor and they do not seem to refill trays or gastronomes if they are empty. In addition the swimming pool is tiny and not so clean.

The staff was really helpful and the location is convenient to connect with the hop on hop off buses that take you to major sites in Athens. Would stay again if I’m ever in Athens!

The place is a straight up dump for $230 a night I expect a lot more. I am was absolutely shocked with how poorly the hotel was maintained and it looks like kind of an meh neighborhood after dark it gets pretty ghetto and sketchy.

wyndham residneces is not the same as wyndham grand even though they are pooled together on booking websites, and it certainly was not a 5 star hotel as advertised; 3.5 stars at the very best. The gym and pool are very very basic. the grand has much better facilities that you can use however. The area around the hotel is not great at all, lots of homeless and migrants, rents in the area are as low as 300 euros a month for an apartment so be careful if you wonder in the side streets. Definitely over priced for what it is, and not a 5 star hotel. On the morning of my departure there was a taxi/uber strike and they didn't even bother to tell me, i had to scramble and go with the metro, and very nearly missed my flight! I would advise, stay elsewher in Athens.

The room was very clean and comfortable with great air conditioning and an excellent bathroom.The breakfast spread was amazing. There was a lot to choose from. It is located right next to Metaxourgeio station and is well located. The surrounding streets are a bit seedy though.

Secondary door lock was broken, end of curtain hanging away from hooks, bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned before or during stay (grubby from previous use), Ass print on pinks velour chair (a-hole very visible) The staff was very good. I didn’t mention any of the concerns as I felt I could work around them- but I wouldn’t stay here again

Very minimal service with slow front fest staff who made me almost miss my flight because they lied about having called a cab for me. I realized they had called their friend instead of a real cab (so nepotic). Only to realize that the friend could only take cash and I could not pay by card. The property was very clean, the breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly and very helpful when asking for directions to city attractions. The pool was just that and not designed for swimming. That was a little disappointing in this hot weather. The rooms were very modern, with strong wifi and a tiny fridge, but they were very small in size. They did have free appetizers in the rooftop bar during the evening hours of 1800-1930. Overall, my stay here was very pleasant and I would recommend for a short trip.

In all honesty, I’m seriously puzzled as to how this hotel is a 5 star?! Someone definitely got a brown envelope lol, so when we arrived we were put in a room on the second floor “with city view” which simple meant we were on the side of the road, however please don’t be fooled!! The hallway smelt like urine, The sound proofing was horrendous, there may aswell not have been a window or a door for that matter, also even after requesting a double bed was given a room with two singles, obviously after complaining we were moved (a day later as it was full). We were moved to the 5th floor which was a lot better, but the sound proofing again was a joke, there were loads of school kids there (which is apparently a regular occurrence) they were running up and down the corridors screaming till 4AM every day. The staff were very helpful however and the best part of the hotel, in fairness they tried to deal with all our issues as best they could, the funniest part was that our room was under the gym and when somebody was on the treadmill we could hear them running and the room was shaking. Also be warned parking is NOT free!!! It’s €15 euros a day which you pay to their “partner” hotel. The biggest issue however, was the bathroom smelt like Drainage, and when we forgot to shut the door the whole room smelt. It would go for a couple hours when they’d clean the room but it was horrible!! Honestly, I’d probably never stay here again, which I’m shocked to say about a 5star hotel.

Stay away!

This is by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The common area looks like something from a cheap hostel, some of the employees were rude, and there were so many things lacking, considering they call it a 5 star hotel. For example, the bathrobes didn’t have a belt, there were no slippers, there was no light in the kitchen area (had to use a flashlight to use the espresso machine), we didn’t get a water bottle daily as promised, no soap in the shower... The pool was tiny, and filled with bugs and feathers, really disgusting. They advertised for happy hour but refused to give us the discount. The breakfast was disappointing, and a lot of the things were empty. There were not enough tables for the guests, so you had to walk around and collect cutlery from the other guests’ tables and sit outside in the burning heat (this was during the heatwave when Acropolis closed). This trip to Athens was part of our honeymoon and this hotel definitely made our stay considerably worse. I will never come back, and I highly recommend that people stay away from this place if they don’t want to ruin their holiday.
