"For the cost of the room, one would expect the owner of the hotel to be more strict on maintaining this hotel, it is historic, the art is lovely, the staff are extremely kind and prompt to assist, but our room experienced a sprinkler that began pouring water from it and an air conditioner that was not fully functional, everything was covered in dust, the mattress was however extremely comfortable, the pillows and sheets were divine, the location of the hotel is great for why we were staying there, but personally, I will not be paying for a night to stay there again. Again, staff was AMAZING, especially responding to the leak, this is the hotel owners fault, not theirs."

"Clean, updated room. The breakfast had a wide variety of options. My only wish was a bolder coffee, but that's minor. My wife and I visit Cincinatti regularly and have now discovered a gem. I highly recommend this hotel."

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was perfect for our needs—comfortable, well-kept, and truly felt like a home away from home. After long days out, it was so nice to come back and relax in such a welcoming space.The host was fantastic—quick to respond, helpful, and made everything easy from start to finish. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, yet still within walking distance of some great restaurants, which was a huge plus.Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. We’re already thinking about coming back next year!"

"Kitchen was perfect for home cooked meals, there are even a few bowls with lids for your leftovers. Cozy inside and out, with a fire pit (and grill) and a comfortable couch and bed. Very local to shops and countless restaurants."

"This hotel is disgusting! Hotels.com you should not recommend this place. It is not as described. Booked an accessibility room and they said they dont have those and when asked why they listed them she didnt know. So we ended up in a 2 double bed room. It was totally trashed and it didnt even have a waste basket. It was a 4 person room with only 3 pillows and they were old and disgusting. Lots of patched holes. Filthy carpet lumpy old beds broken furniture the chair in the non smoking room had a chunk torn out and cigarette burns. No microwave when one was listed on the room i booked. The room smelled terrible. We only got 1 towel and washcloth and they were stained. Told the desk how bad it was and they said "yeah we are working on remodeling but that room wasnt one yet. So why am i paying full price if you know the room is bad? No offer of a discount no apology. Just a yeah we know its bad. And that it should be remodeled in the next year. Save your money and piece of mind. "

"The home was very neat, clean and tastefully decorated. It was stocked with everything we needed, from bed linens, dishes, pots and pans, extra towels and blankets to toilet paper, paper towels, soaps and detergents. The location was great with lots to do within walking distance in the adorable village of Mariemont. It’s also conveniently located near surrounding greater Cincinnati area attractions. The only drawback we noticed was that there was limited counter space in the kitchen, the living room furniture was not the most comfortable, and there was a LOT of light coming in through the windows all night long from street lights and neighboring businesses which stay lit up at night. We recommend that the owners invest in some blackout curtains for the three upstairs bedrooms. Other than that, the beds were very comfortable and the communication with hosts was perfectly adequate."
