"This hotel was easily one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The hotel rooms have a proper ryokan feel and the hotel staff are the nicest people I have came across in Japan. We didn’t even ask them for a shuttle pick up from our bus stop but a car with a driver was already there They provide free shuttle to and fro Sukurai station which I wish I knew from before. Oh and the views from the rooms are just exquisite. I would recommend this hotel to anyone in a heartbeat. My only regret is that...

"This place is in the middle of nowhere! If you think you are going to see the deer at nara, forget it! No tea or coffee in room and breakfast does not cater for westerners- bed was comfortable "

"Total relaxation and we'll needed downtime. The staff at this were wonderful and welcoming. The area was beautiful, the hotel looks out onto sweeping mountain landscape. We enjoyed the indoor onsen and slept soundly in our traditional accommodations. The food was very impressive, so carefully presented and delicious. We ate breakfast and dinner here but also tried some restaurants with walking distance that did not disappoint. A remarkable experience, thank you for your hospitality. "

"Room was excellent for the price. Cleaning was excellent. Unfortunately the staff could not assist with a dinner reservation later in my trip. There are only two laundry machines so it is difficult to do laundry; I used a nearby coin laundry business instead. Would still happily stay here again."
"Perfect stay! Great buffet breakfast, great amenities, staff were so lovely even offering a late check out no hassle. Awesome location and so close to everything. Beds were the comfiest of our trip to Japan! "
"Amenities are great. Did my laundry and I could track the status on my phone with a QR code. Staff was friendly and location is great if you wanna be near everything and in the middle of the action. If you want complete silence at night, stay further away from Dotonbori"
