Best Western in Asse from NZ$178

This striking boutique hotel set in a landscaped garden was excellent for our visit to medieval Goslar. Access is a little difficult with a sloping block and stairs to tackle. The building is beautifully decorated and staff were very helpful with tips for exploring the town and other attractions. Breakfast on the terrace was excellent and parking under a carport was free. Our room was a strange design which made it a little cramped but we had a great view. Easy walk to town centre.

Good hotel, well located, comfy bed, great bathroom, good breakfast and OK gym. Overall let down a little bit by underwhelming service in the restaurant and bar.

Everything about staying in this hotel was wonderful. That includes pre - arrival communications. The hotel manager right through to housekeeping were delightful and extremely helpful. I recommend making dinner reservations so you can sit right by the water - it's just delightful. I can also recommend using one of the hotel bikes to explore the area or take a packed lunch pack and go for a hike.
