Princess Royale Oceanfront Resort
10/10 Excellent
"Beautifully updated resort built in 1991. Check in was a breeze. Our room was clean and comfortable. Nice shower, comfy bed, and the studio had everything we needed. My only suggestion would be to improve the shower products and soap. The smell of the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner was not good. Also, a pump hand soap and body lotion would be appreciated. They provide lots of towels, coffee, and a full fridge/freezer and even a microwave and mini cooktop stove in the studio. The coffee shop on the 1st floor serves Starbucks which is a nice perk. We had drinks at the beach bar and listened to some great live music. All in all a fantastic stay with friendly staff."

"I like the hotel I like the little private beach and the rooftop pool, but I will not get the fifth floor because of the pool on the top. There was leakage from the roof on the fifth floor due to the pool, being on the top of the roof was always wet so I would suggestive fourth floor on down."

"The staff were very helpful and engaging. The only problem with the hotel was the smell of sour milk in someone’s trash. You could see the beach from our window, which was beautiful."

"The hotel is reasonable walking distance from the beach and there is an indoor pool should the weather outside not be amenable to being at the beach. Rooms were clean. My only complaint was the breakfast arrangement. It's too cramped on the first floor, too many people, and insufficient options available of foods. Before the management change, there used to be breakfast option at the rooftop restaurant, which was much nicer. They ought to consider going back to that option for a happier hotel morning experience."

"We stayed in a room with an ocean view. It was lovely to see the sunrise and sunset. The room was spacious with a large kitchenette area. The location is a good one as it’s easily accessible to Fenwyck Island, Bethany Beach and Ocean City. The only issue was the Internet was not working consistently and was slow."
