"The villa is squirrelled away in a nearly hard-to-find track in quiet Tsikalaria, near Chania. I used StreetView and Google Maps to find the location before I left the UK! The villa itself is pleasant, with two ample bedrooms with fantastic aircon. There's a functional kitchen, lounge area and a bathroom with a reasonable shower. "Quite unique and interesting villa in a quaint little village worth the drive but the grounds around the villa are not looked after at all, the pond with goldfish in it was green and not working, the other pond was even worse. "Probably the best option if you want to spend a vacation in Chania. Spotless clean, professional staff, grest swimming pool, excelent breakfast.Close to Old Town and even closer to the endless restaurant strip.One of the best lodging option I ever had ( and I traveled the world). Me and my family enjoyed the stay a lot and is going to be the only option to consider when we plan next vacation to Crete. Well done Kriti Hotel, keep it up. Thanks gain."

"Our stay at Palazzo di Pietro was nothing short of magical. Tucked right in the heart of Chania’s Old Town, this boutique property offers the perfect balance of local charm and comfort. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a thoughtful fruit basket and local wine—a gesture that immediately set the tone for the kind of hospitality we’d experience throughout our stay. The building itself is full of character, beautifully preserved, and immaculately clean. Our suite had everything we needed, and the rooftop terrace was a peaceful retreat each evening. We loved how walkable everything was—from quiet beaches to incredible dinners, boat tours, and all the energy of the Old Venetian Harbor. Yet, the property remained calm and serene, offering a restful escape at the end of each day. As a frequent traveler with my daughter, I look for accommodations that offer more than just a place to sleep—and Palazzo di Pietro exceeded expectations. It’s the kind of stay that sticks with you long after you leave. Highly recommended for anyone wanting authentic Cretan warmth, unbeatable location, and a truly special stay in Chania."

"This hotel is great and the breakfast and cleanliness are excellent. My only observations are that it would be great to have service around the pool and the storage space in the rooms definitely needs to be looked as, most of our clothes had to stay in piles on the floor. With that said I could go back to the hotel"
