Cozy Aspen Retreat
The property is in a good location in Aspen, a few blocks from the busy Aspen activity, close enough to walk to everything. #210 has 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. It was not made clear that one of the bathrooms is down the hall from the bedroom that uses it. The condo is clean, a bit dated, Formica counters in bathrooms and kitchen. The tub/showers worked well. It’s a bit warm in summer, windows open with screens, but not much cross ventilation. The manager was very helpful and provided fans which can be placed inside the windows. There is sliding screen door which leads to a patio. Unfortunately neither of the screen doors lock. It would have been nice if we had been informed of the construction of new condos directly out the master bedroom window, some times beginniing at 7-8 am. Had to shut the windows and then there was no air. There is basically not a view from 210, on one side you look down on the pool and hot tub, and the patio looks onto the new condos garages. The rooms are dark and might benefit from ceiling fans with dimmable lights. Some of the lampshades need replacing.. it is wonderful that there is an exterior elevator, and carts to load luggage on to get it to your condo. The washer/dryers just off the lobby we’re almost always available, and it’s nice that they provide laundry soap and dryer sheets. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable, although there is not much to entice you to hang out in the condo much.
