"I did not receive my check-in information until a few hours before check-in time and after emailing the hotel. This was quite disconcerting. The fact that it is a self check-in process was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable. The pillows were too soft for my liking. The only toiletries in the bathroom were 6 or 8 small bottles of shampoo and a bottle of hand wash. Some shower gel would have been nice. Overall a good stay. It was lovely lying listening to the water when we opened the windows. "

"Glenbeg is set in the beautiful Glenalla Estate. The house itself is surrounded by trees and is very private. It’s certainly the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing break and a great location for touring Donegal. We loved walking around the estate with our dogs and it was great to have use of the tennis court. Glenbeg Tower has everything you could want, lovely comfy bed right up in the tower, living room on the first floor with views of the trees. Good sized kitchen with all amenities. We loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening. Overall we had a great time at Glenbeg."

"Very short drive to three world class golf courses. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Food was very good. Room very comfortable."

"This was a lovely spot. The accomodation was basic but really all that is needed. We did not have any hot water for all our stay however. We called (no answer) and left a message (no reply). This was a bit disappointing. The bunk beds look practical but with one person on the bottom bunk and one on the top sleep was hard as everytime one of us moved the bed would creek and wobble. "
