Was just fabulous, a fantastic stay from start to finish. Added extra of a fabulous wellbeing spa and golf course directly behind the hotel on the coast. Lovely bar/restaurant with live music.

Nice spot in Buncrana

Thanks very much, just a quick one night stay, but the girls at reception were great, got me a sea view, and then the night team were great, got me a breakfast at 6am too. Bar staff great, nice food in bar, and the pool is a really nice pool too. A good location and a nice put next door, the drift inn.

Welcoming hotel

Staff helpful and courteous. Breakfast plentiful and helpful waiting staff. Good touring base. Tourist information centre nearby . Good choice of restaurants locally.

2 day break in a very nice hotel with my wife. Room was very good with a view over loch swilly. Staff excellent as was the food. 2nd visit here and will return.

Great view and kippers at breakfast

The place looks a bit like a factory from the road outside but is very comfortable inside. The view from the restaurant at breakfast is superb. The hot breakfast is mostly buffet style but the kippers are excellent if you remember to request them when you go in.

Everything was fine in general except for theeal purchased in the bar, I ordered chick stack which literally was one piece of chicken, that's fine and usual in most places, one onion ring and the smallest amount of champ I've seen on a restaurant meal, two of the cheapest ingredients in the meal that could have made a big difference had they increased the portion of champ and maybe another one or two onion rings. I wouldn't even give it a one star for this reason.

Great pool, quite warm too! Lovely view from the room & the bar. Food was nice, service was slow though. Doesn't have room service, despite saying it does - I was told I could order in the bar & carry it up myself but I have a walking stick so not sure how I was meant to balance it. Also if my son was well enough to sit in the bar while they ordered & cooked his food,then we may as well just eat there (he wasn't well enough) Worst though was the lack of sleep due to the pillows - all 3 days I woke with the worst pain in my neck, despite trying to sleep in every position & try every pillow! Haven't had this issue in other hotels.
