We really enjoyed the cottage. The kids like sleeping in the loft. The hot tub was excellent and it was really nice coming from NS having condiments and oils and some spices available. I love a well stocked house. Thank you so very much. We certainly consider renting here again.

The property had everything we expected and more! Comfortable, well equipped, and clean. Goderich and Kincardine are nearby with lovely waterfront walks and stores. We visited a few parks, walked trails, and enjoyed beaches. When we weren’t out exploring we thoroughly enjoyed the backyard with a brand new deck, great hot tub, and the huge lawn area.

Area is very quiet and the home has almost anything you need. Nice to have king size beds, that are comfortable. Even though most of our days were windy, there was lots of wood for the backyard fire pit. Home was comfortable.

It’s been our 2nd time to Jesse’s cottage and it keeps getting better! A spectacular new backyard deck that connects the upper part of cottage making it very convenient and inviting to spend lots of time out back. Thank you Jesse/ for graciously hosting our family again. Port Albert is a hidden gem with beautiful private beach access. We will definitely return!

Hi! We really enjoyed our time at the yellow house. Just a few things that would make it better. New frying pans as the other ones are scratched and the kitchen could use a salad spinner. Also, we ran out of dish soap part way through our stay and there wasn’t any stocked. But otherwise everything was great! Loved the new deck! Loved the hot tub! And the comfy cozy feel of the cottage. So helpful having laundry too!

5 stars are insufficient to rate this property. My adult daughter and I booked a 4-day stay.. to paint and have a retreat of sorts. The cottage was reasonably priced.. and would be an astounding value for 2 couples. Never knew a rental count be so clean and well equipped. Beds comfy.. good layout.. even a good beach steps away. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We really enjoyed our stay at the little yellow house. It was very well stocked and the beds were comfy. The backyard is beautiful-I was sad the weather wasn't a little warmer to really sit out and enjoy. My dog is a 'condo dog' and loved the freedom of running out to the backyard. I really liked that they had some gates for the porch so it was ok to just let her run out. My 85 yr old mother was with me and it was great to have the bedroom on the first floor and the walk in shower for her to use. Communication was very quick for any problems/questions that came up.

We really enjoyed ourselves this past week. Love the beds and the large centre island in the kitchen. Lots of towels for use in the hot tub. Multiple plug in stations for our phones and tablets. We did not have a fire but it is well set up for enjoyment. Take care getting in and out of hot tub as entry is on the lounger side. The main floor is ceramic tile which is a cool refreshing relief on the feet in these very hot humid days. Jesse was easy to contact and helped us when needed. This cottage is easy to get to and close to nearby beaches. The general store in Port Albert is closed and up for sale. There is no pub or LCBO in Port Albert.

We traveled from Sint Maarten and did extensive research to find a suitable home or cottage near the Goderich area. We came across this cottage and it had all the amenities that we were looking for. After staying a week, I have to say It exceeded our expectations....we loved how well-equipped the cottage was and how clean and well-maintained the cottage and property was....the proximity to Lake Huron, Port Albert, and Goderich was a plus and the quiet streets near the cottage were perfect for walks and runs. No better sunsets than on Lake Huron! We really enjoyed the Hot tub and the fire pit. We want to recognize and thank Jesse our host for helping to make our stay so memorable. He was accessible before and during our stay if we had any questions - super friendly, professional, and helpful! We can't wait to book our trip with him again next June!
