our room was part of the older , original building and was musty smelling and lots of moisture. Our room had several spider webs and cob webs around the corners of the bed. I killed 4 small spiders from the bed post on both beds.

Great stay very friendly staff and bartender Joe was amazing with his knowledge of the area and things to do Only negative is the rooms themselves were very old and out dated wouldn’t want to hang out in them but the property more than makes up for that

Decided to stay here on a whim and we are so glad we did! The resort property was beautiful, the staff was exceptionally friendly and the amenities were lovely. The Overlook was delicious, we dined there more than once. Downtown Asheville was a very short drive away.

A lot to do! Upset they didn’t have room I reserved upon arrival and had to pay again for a more expensive room for my family and now working with Expedia to get refunded money I paid them that didn’t result in a room due to hotel’s error.

Pleasant staff. Especially Olivia (waitress during the breakfast hours at the Overlook restaurant, which is located on the first floor of the hotel) had a lovely bubbly personality. Everyone was professional and kind. The breakfast buffet was very good. The room was comfortable and clean. The facility has pool which looked nice, but we didn’t get a chance to use them
