"We loved staying at Duffy's! We were here for ten days. It was a great homebase for travel around Ireland. We visited Dublin 3 days, which was a quick drive although we found the 103 bus also easy to navigate if you don't want to drive. We also did day trips to the West Coast and to Belfast. Our hosts were fantastic--Eve welcomed us on our first day and gave us many tips. They responded to our bevy of questions and came by to say goodbye as well. It was fun to be surrounded by animals in a farm setting, but also very close to Ashbourne if we needed anything. Kitty came to visit us several times. As others have noted they provided scones, milk, orange juice and tea on arrival with the good Irish butter. I did walk through Ballybin forest one afternoon when we were doing laundry, which was also easy to manage. I highly recommend this spot!"

"The bathroom was almost impossible to bath in, and was dirty. The bedroom sheets smelled as if the Saint Patrick's Battalion had also there, also the pillows. There were no hangers in closet, with the owners things there that have us almost no space to hang a few things for us to hang. The zone where the property is, was very nice, shops close by were friendly and the pub was great! We can say that the only good thing was the coffee selection, and the location of the property."

"If you’ve ever dreamed of staying in a cottage in the Irish countryside, this is the place for you! The cottage is beautiful and serene, with a friendly and responsive host. As a bonus, 2 friendly pups might stop by to play. "

"The check-in email got blocked as Spam and I emailed, texted and called the property several times seeking information. Nobody ever responded. We sat in our car in the sun in the parking lot for several hours waiting for check-in help. Finally figured it out by ourselves after finding the email in spam folder. The place sleeps 5, but the couch only seats 2 comfortably. They boast of cereal and stuff available. No, there isn’t. No smart TV, only basic cable which seemed to have OLD sitcoms or cartoons for children. No place to plug a hair dryer in anywhere near a mirror. I stood facing a wall in the bedroom and had to hope I was drying it correctly. The whole place had an odd smell, like dirty water. They had a strong deodoriser plugged into the wall, but when I unplugged it to use the outlet, the apartment was soon overtaken with the bad smell."
