"I hate to write a bad review, but the way this property was displayed online is nothing like how it actually is. It’s true- they have renovated 2 floors of rooms, which I asked to stay in. However, the cleanliness and condition of the room overall was bad. I wasn’t expecting anything fancy from a historic property, but there was literally a used hand towel on the sink as soon as we checked in. Not to mention an already consumed liquor bottle sitting on the shelf, in the room. Not to mention, the newly renovated shower was covered in mildew and no surface of the room appeared to be touched with a cleaner. The hotel is in such a cool spot and surrounded by nightlife and activities but I would rather stay somewhere mediocre that was double the price and farther away, than stay at the Harrison again. Elijah at the front desk was super nice and apologetic and helped us get the rest of our stay refunded. Probably the best part of our visit. "

"The bedding had to be changed because it wasn’t clean. The refrigerator made an annoying sound all night. I think the motor was dying. They responded right away to change the bedding, but nothing could be done about the refrigerator. The A/C fan somewhat drowned out the sound. The location is great. Not far from the Cruise Port."

"Rooms are scattered all over a 3 block radius. The room was almost impossible to find. It was very basic. We didn’t feel comfortable enough to sleep under the covers. "

"Parking was tight if you has an SUV. Room was nice for what it was needed for, sleeping. Room was smaller than what the photos showed but the AC was cold, shower worked well. A little confused at first where to ho to get the keys since there was one sign on the hotel that said to go one place but a tenant told me where to go. Otherwise, it was a place to sleep after a long day. Thank you"
