"The view and private beach at this hotel was amazing. I went with my partner, and we enjoyed the walk down to the beach every day. This is definitely a family-oriented hotel, so if you’re a couple and looking for privacy or quiet, I wouldn’t suggest. However, I really enjoyed the fresh baked cookies every day from 3-7pm, the adult only hot tub that was open until 11pm, and the fire pits. The free breakfast was also decent.
Cons: As much as I loved staying here, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable- which is enough for me to not return. I was really disappointed by that and we had to ask for an extra mattress topper which they gave us but it was still pretty hard. It was also advertised that there would be free bike rentals and they didn’t have any. They suggested we use the ones next door, but those were rusty and in horrible shape. I tried to use one and it got a flat tire in under a minute. After talking with the staff, I learned they are revamping their own bike service but it is unknown when they will have them available.
Overall, impeccable service and great amenities, especially for families. The private beach and views were the highlight of our trip."
