"The cabin is absolutely beautiful and has a great view that you can enjoy sitting on the enormous covered porch area. The directions were easy to follow. There is a Food Lion close by for your groceries. We were able to use the propane grill and the kitchen is fully stocked with all utensils and appliances. Feeling adventurous - there is plenty to do within 30 - 45 minute drive. We enjoyed kayaking at a local lake and climbing Whiteside mountain. In town we stopped at Anny’s for handmade ice cream and ribs from Haywood Smokehouse. Highly recommend was delicious."

"Clean quiet property in the mountains. Close to lake and many hikes/waterfalks. Very responsive owners. Sadly we didn’t get to use the fire pit due to rain. WiFi was great. Hummingbirds, horses and got to meet the neighbors pets. Would recommend."

"We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the house very much. The views are beautiful, kitchen easy to work in, and a nice hot tub. When our car battery died the morning of our departure, Bradley was very helpful and communicative. We hope to be back very soon!"

"Absolutely charming cabin, cosy and well equipped. Special decorative touches in every room gave such a warm feel. Loved the porches, comfy outdoor seating and view of the water. It took our kids about 5 minutes to locate the tube and plunge into the river. Lush vegetation, great for walking. Such a great family vacation property!"

"I concur with all of the positive reviews which are accurate in their descriptions. The bed is a great couple’s bed, super comfy. We loved having the whole of the large bottom deck to ourselves for breakfast in the morning, and glasses of wine at night. As of June, 2026, both cell service and WiFi aren’t great, so I recommend downloading everything (playlists, maps, movies) ahead of time. As most everyone has correctly mentioned, Debi is a fantastic and thoughtful host. We’ll be coming back again. Recommended: Hikes - High Falls South Trailhead (5min drive) w/1mi walk to the falls - Panthertown Valley Trailhead (35min drive) w/numerous trails. Restaurants: The Local (10min drive) and a minute down the road is Happs Place, both with good food and live music. There’re numerous places to put in for paddling and the lake is beautiful."

"Great house on a charming lane near Lake Glenville and Signal Ridge Marina. Great restaurant (Happ’s Place) very close by. Location is A. WIFI worked great, lots of kitchen supplies and extra towels and bedding. Only negatives were: the garage was a bit dingy, the driveway is difficult to maneuver out of (true of most mountain properties), there was no baby gate for stairs (this was stated in the listing), there was no bath mat, and the sliding glass doors were only locked by long pieces of wood wedged in between. These were minor and would not prevent us from booking this property again."
