"Our stay was September 8-13. The two building setup works great for more than one adult couple to sleep and shower each day. The cabins have that rustic appeal to them and are well equipped to handle one couple or three with room for the kiddies in the cute bunkbeds. Both cabins have AC with the main cabin having a Heat pump so as to keep it cool on hot days or warm it up as we did with the last two nights getting down to upper 40's to low 50's. The deck has a great view of the lake with just enough trees to give privacy if wanted. The stairs to the beach are a hike but with hand rails and steps spaced close together going down and then the climb back up easy (I'm 69 and made the climb 10 times over the week). The beach area is grassy but once in the water, it's all sand with a few small lake stones here and there. (One of the best beaches we have enjoyed on the Whitefish Chain of lakes) The water depth doesn't get past 4' until your past the dock. Great for small Kiddos. We docked our 22' pontoon with no problem. Nice area for a fire at the beach and also just outside the bedroom cabin. All in All we had a great stay with as always the Whitefish Chain of Lakes being spectacular. We love Big Trout Lake as you can stay on this lake for your entire stay or navigate the channels to access something different each day."

"This condo in Pine River is amazing!! Very accurate in the description and so so clean!! The view is nothing short of spectacular!! We arrived much later than we intended, so it was dark. Our GPS told us we had arrived in the middle of the road. Boo!! It was 11:00 pm and I called Rich, he answered promptly and talked our way there. ( We just didn't go far enough). He was so kind and didn't act put out with us!! 5 stars for this stay and the communication. We would love to stay here again if we ever make it up!!"

"This house was perfect for our group of 12--six adults and six young children (ages 8 and under). The kitchen is large and well-stocked, the living areas are cozy and great for kids to play, and the outdoor space was perfect for running and bocce ball. The views of the lake from the kitchen and living rooms are incredible. We loved our time here!"

"This is a wonderful, old-style family cabin that has many modern updates. The living, dining, kitchen areas are an open design. The living room has comfy sofas and a large fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped with every utensil, pot or pan you’ll need. All overlook the lake which is beautiful.Access to the lake has many steps, but once you’re there, it has great swimming and a large dock for your boat. There are plenty of water toys and a pontoon you can rent additionally. There’s plenty of sleeping space, so it is perfect for families. Plus, the 3-season porch is the perfect place to relax away from other activity.The laundry is well supplied and easy to use.My family especially appreciated that all the soaps are environmentally friendly."
