"The perfect and premier ecolodge for birdwatching and photography in Costa Rica with unique opportunities to watch King Vultures and other rare birds. We saw 14 adult and 6 juvenile King Vultures at the feeding station, 5-20 meters away, together with about 40 Black Vultures. Fruit feeding stations attract dozens of birds including toucans, parrots and Great Curassows. About a dozen palm trees with breeding holes attract diverse range of birds to breed 5-15 meters in front of the lodge, including a pair of Central American Pygmy-Owl and two pairs of Black-crowned Tityra. Excellent delicious food prepared at the lodgeā€™s restaurant."
