"Timberline Lodge in Arnold is a nice hotel conveniently located along CA-4. It was very close to Calaveras Big Trees State Park. There are a good number of restaurants catering to different cuisines. Our favorites were Bistro Espresso and Sarafina’s Italian Restaurant. The lodge itself looks newly renovated and well maintained. The amenities met our needs. The only problem we had was with the air conditioning. It was a hot weekend in August with temperature in the 90’s and the a/c wasn’t cooling enough. The chilly night time air took care of cooling the room with the windows open. All in all, it was a good experience for us. Highly recommended."

"Al was super easy to communicate with and could not have been kinder or more considerate. The cabin is perfectly situated in a cul de sac and is very well-maintained. It had everything 2 families would need for a fun weekend. Would love stay again!"

"House had everything we needed and way more! The kids loved the game room and we all loved the open concept of the living area. We also appreciated the access to the pool, lake and recreational area. The communication with the hosts was fantastic. We will definitely be back!"

"My bad in not renting a cabin with AC when summer temps were in the 90s. Despite running 11 fans, we were still hot. We also had brought our big dog, who we struggled to keep cool. The cabin's location is great, in the Blue Springs Lake community with many amenities including two private lakes, pool, pickleball, a restaurant, and much more. So close to restaurants in town and Big Trees State Park. The cabin is well-equipped and decorated with cute wall art. There is no open cupboard space to store food. Not sure how groups of 8 manage. It was nice that beach chairs and mat, and beach towels were provided."
