Great Deck
Enjoyed dinner on the patio with the great Forrest all around. The beds were comfy and the showers were awesome. The house had everything we needed. Definitely would stay here again.
We liked the cabin. It was well supplied/equipped, the local team was readily available. It is about a 35min drive to Bear Valley - we would book again.
We loved our stay at this cabin! Used to visit Blue Lake Springs as a kid and was wonderful to share with my kiddos! The Stiles cabin was so cozy and charming! Loved seeing the pics on the walls of the building process! Overall we loved our stay and can’t wait to return in winter to visit Bear Valley to ski!
This is a cabin you can relax and feel right at home in. From the remarkable pine beds to the rustic pine staircase rails, this place has a cool vibe.

Great cabin
This was our second time staying at this cabin. Very cozy and the perfect size for our family. The kids loved the rope swing and hiking down to the creek. Has everything you need for a quiet getaway surrounded by forest. Close enough to town, quick drive to Calavaras and the beautiful scenic ride to Bear Valley.

4th time visiting Arnold
This cabin was nice and comfortable, except it was a little too warm. Loved the loft and especially the king sized bed. We enjoyed the outside deck in the evening.

Mountain cabin
Great back deck looking over miles of forest. 3 cozy bedrooms. The driveway entrance was terrifying.
We stayed there for a few nights and had a great time. The cabin was clean, and spacious. The view from the deck was awesome and he grill made the experience even better. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows very soft. The only thing to complaint about is the downstairs shower and sink don't drain properly and it needs fixing. Other than that our experience was very good and will be staying there again.

Nice cozy cabin in beautiful area
I loved this cabin. It’s got a very warm wooden feel to it. I loved the fireplace. The kitchen was easy to use.
The driveway is quite steep and I can’t imagine how anyone could drive up it when there’s snow or ice on it. Thankfully, the snow had mostly melted at that elevation when I arrived. But a short drive up the mountains towards Bear Valley provided lots of snow to enjoy.

Nice little cabin next to Calaveras Big Trees
I visited for a quick retreat, and picked this cabin because of its proximity to Calaveras Big Trees State Park. The cabin is as-described: good kitchen, comfortable beds, nice views. If you stay here, check out the South Grove trail, it's the best in the park (and it you're here for multiple days, save that trail for last).
I am very glad I read the reviews. I saw another reviewer's warning about the driveway. If you rent here, arrive before dark, seriously. I got in fine because I came in the afternoon, but navigating this Z-shaped driveway after dark would have been dicey. A photo of it in the ad would be nice.
All in all, a quiet, clean, well-appointed space in one of the prettiest spots in California! Had a nice time.
Great location near Arnold and Calavaras Big Trees. The cabin was set up well, the beds were very comfortable and showers worked great. Both the kitchen, bathrooms were clean upon arrival. However, I felt overall the cabin needs a very deep cleaning. I didn’t notice any smells, but there were so many items in the cabin that needed dusting. There was a thick layer of dust on top of the microwave under various items. I dropped an egg on the kitchen floor, the paper towel I used to clean came up filthy. The upstairs floor boards are really squeaky as well as the outside deck. As many have noted, the driveway is very scary. You can enter the driveway at the previous house number and this will take you parallel to the road straight into the driveway, still narrow but easier.
It's a very nice cabin. Large balcony with nice view.
