"From check in to check out, The Sonesta is top tier! Their rooms are beautiful and clean. The bar is gorgeous and perfect for a drink. I especially loved the $15/day credit to use either at the bar, restaurant or cafe. The staff responds to any request quickly and efficiently. The pool is divine with it's heating and the many windows and skylights let in such great sun; perfect for lounging poolside. My only complaint is the inconsistent pool hours. They are different every day and are not posted anywhere on their site. If you happen to check in on a day that the pool closes at 3pm (check in is at 4pm), then you are out of luck. Anywhere else, the pool is open daily from 6 or 7am until 9 or 10pm. We were here to celebrate my daughter's 7th birthday and the pool was a key element in that. Luckily, we were accommodated by the lovely supervisor of the swim classes and her time was not cut short. Can't wait to return!"

"After flying in with four of us from Los Angeles on a Red Eye, we had to drive around for 4-5 hours until we were able to check in at 4pm, however after hours of trying to get into the property with no answer on the contact number ,we finally were able to have the local property manager come out and say that the property overbooked and had no room for us. I spent over 2 hours on the phone getting the run around by Expedia with mixed stories of our accommodations. FINALLY with now the story is that there was a plumbing problem and they would get us to another property from the original property manager and Expedia NOT doing a thing to help 4 of us stranded with no place to stay, we got to the other property. The new property was fine, but the most upsatting thing was dealing with Expedia trying to get a place for us to stay. Expedia tried saying they would cancel the accommodations and get us a Hotel but we would have to pay for the hotel and then wait for any credits or refund on our original booking. HIGHLY unacceptable by Expedia customer service. I am a GOLD member and spend quite a few thousand dollars a year for both business and pleasure and they did NOTHING to make me feel they were taking care of us. We basically lost a day of full work which cost my business over $1500 in non productive work."

"DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HOST!!! After paying an additional 150 for an early check-in to expedite the process, we were in route when I received a call stating a pipe burst in the unit. They placed us in a smaller unit with a tiny kitchen and without a washer/dryer that was 10 mins farther. I called and text persistently for 4 days before we moved into the original unit. There were no signs of any repair. The bathrooms in this unit is very small, the vents are covered in dust, the adjacent neighbors were loud, parked their cars anyway they liked, and the pool, foosball and airhockey tables take up the whole space where the oversized glass table is pictured rendering the kitchen space impractical. When I asked about compensation, I was told the request was put in. After check-out, I inquired only to be told "no refund." The host has changed her number and VRBO attempted to mediate without success because the owner never returned calls. It turns out the place we were offered was not a VRBO property and they couldn't do anything for us without completing rebooking another unit. This owner also double books on Expedia and other sites. Again, not worth the price and communication is atrocious! BEWARE!! "

"Our dog couldn't easily navigate the second floor, which this is, although it's not clear from the listing. The entire place was covered in a stickiness, which made us very uncomfortable and was generally gross. We have asked for a refund as we moved out after just one night, but they would like pictures. I explained that pictures of stickiness is challenging, but here's their advice if you decide to stay here:We get it—“sticky” is tough to capture, but a few quick tips help:- Use raking light: shine your phone’s flashlight from a low angle so the residue shows as glare or streaks.- Close-ups context: take one wider photo to show location (counter, table, floor), then a close-up of the sticky area.- Show transfer: press a white tissue/paper towel on the spot and photograph the residue left on it; a short 10–20s video of the “tack” when you lift your fingers also works.- Add scale: include a coin or card in the frame.- Timestamp: keep photos/videos with automatic timestamps if possible and note which room/area each one is from.So if you stay at this place, please take their advice if you find this place to be pretty gross.
