"Awesome little hotel in a small town, the hosts were amazing! Very accommodating, went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and get us anything we needed and asked for. Very beautiful location. The only downside is that because it’s in a small town there’s not a lot of food options and shopping close by. The breakfast was really good though. Go swim in the port with the locals. Great place overall"

"This property has amazing views. It was clean and well laid out. There are multiple apartments that share the grounds but it is a large property with many areas to sit, visit and enjoy the views. The road to the property is quite steep and narrow but had hardly any traffic on it."

"We had a fantastic stay. The house was beautiful and exceeded all expectations — spotless, very well equipped, and in an extremely peaceful location. The pool was outstanding and perfect for relaxing after days out. Ideal base for visiting Bilbao and San Sebastián, with great local beaches close by. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout. Many thanks to Javi and Fernando for a wonderful week."

"The hotel is set on the river estuary, with beautiful views of boats bobbing up and down and a nice promenade to walk along. On arrival the lift was broken so had to carry out cases up 2 floors, it was fixed by the next day. Also we were told that the hotel was closed the next day so there were no reception, bar or food available. This seemed a bit odd for a hotel."

"Jose’s apartment in Plentzia was a wonderful home base for our time in Spain. The space was cozy, bright, peaceful, and thoughtfully stocked, with excellent storage solutions that made the apartment feel organized and comfortable. We especially loved the clever vertical shoe storage and the fully functional kitchen, where we enjoyed slower mornings making coffee and tortilla de patatas before heading out for our daily adventures.The apartment was also beautifully personalized with some of Jose’s own impressive paintings of local spots, which gave the spaces character and reinforced the culture we were immersed in.The location was fantastic, with grocery stores nearby, a metro station directly into Bilbao, yummy bakeries, pintxos spots, and the gorgeous Plentzia beach all within walking distance.Most importantly, Jose was an exceptional host. He was kind, warm, communicative, and especially thoughtful toward both us and our children throughout our stay. He genuinely cared that we were comfortable and was always quick to help whenever needed. We truly enjoyed renting from him and would absolutely recommend his apartment to anyone visiting Plentzia. "

"Yes everything was clean, and very spacious accomodation. The area is in a rural area but I liked that aspect of it. I rented a hybrid and I was able to have it charged each night at reasonable cost. The host was very nice and helpful."

"The property is beautiful. The unit had everything we needed along with an amazing view down to the ocean. The location is very quiet and peaceful and close to area towns and beaches. Be certain to follow the directions given by the host, as our GPS was not helpful."
