"The hostel is average. Breakfast was good. The double room with a bathroom has 4 beds and is spacious however the bathroom/ toilet is very very small. Overall enjoyed our stay however expected little more cleanliness. Staff is super helpful, they turned the radiant heater On upon request."

"Our flight was delayed and we arrived late, after the check-in window had closed, but the staff went completely above and beyond to help us make it there okay. They kept parking open late and provided an extremely clear and personalized instruction guide to access the property, retrieve our key, and make it to our room late at night. The area was gorgeous and the room was on a corner, very nice and clean. I would love to stay here again. "

Magnificent 180-Degree Lake Views of Lake Como from the Terrac

"We enjoyed this unit for 7 nights in September 2025. The photos of the unit accurately depict its interior. However, the photos of the view from the terrace do not do it justice. The view is truly spectacular. I know that you can pay much much more for a unit on Lake Como which would not have half as nice of a view of the lake. We did not have a car during our visit, but we were able to use the ferry system each day to visit Bellagio, Menagio and Varena (our favorite) without any problem. I am 74 years old, so I was concerned about the steep walk down to the town center and ferry dock. The walk down was pleasant, but the walk back up did require me to rest a couple of times. Just before leaving on our vacation, my wife (77 years old) suffered a mobility problem, so not even the walk down was possible for her. The host family rescued our vacation, as they also operate a small livery service, which they made available to us each day for a very reasonable fee, enabling us to access the town and the ferry system. They could not have been more accommodating, answering all of our many questions prior to our arrival, as well as helping us with whatever needs we had during our visit. If Lake Como is on your bucket list, this unit is the one to rent. "
"Overall great experience. Very attentive staff and the food is absolutely delicious… you really won’t need to book any other dinner reservations while staying here. The menu changed daily and each day was so fresh. If you want to book any of the excursions through the hotel make sure you do that about a week before arriving and be very clear on exactly when and what you would like to do as we ended up missing out on those. If you want to be able to travel between different spots on the lake this is a great central location meaning you aren’t taking up too much time on ferries or in a car. "

"Spacious and well equipped property in a delightful location with great views from the balcony. Conveniently placed halfway between Como and Bellagio with a regular bus service on the doorstep and a great little grocery shop within walking distance. Absolutely no need for a car although anyone with mobility issues should bear in mind that the roads and cobbled streets of Nesso are challengingly steep!"
