About this property

Homes in Arezzo, Cortona, and Florence

  • The house is near Arezzo, 60 km from Siena and 55 km from Florence. Cortona is 15 km away. There are three rooms, all with access to the outdoors, onto the lawn. There’s a small stream running alongside. The surrounding area is very spacious. You can even walk to the village store, which sells practically everything—but above all, truly locally sourced products. The prosciutto, eggs, and fruit all come exclusively from local producers. You won’t find a place this authentic anywhere else anymore. To get to Arezzo, Cortona, Florence, or Siena, the area is served by regular bus routes that also go to the two nearby train stations. The bus stop is within walking distance. Another must-see is Lake Trasimeno near Perugia—it’s just a short distance away. In the summer, there’s a beach, and it feels just like being at the seaside. Finally, Rome is just a 1-hour ride on the high-speed train from Arezzo.
