"Beautiful old house with creaky floorboards and lots of antiques, very tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh with a very good selection available. The thermal suite was lovely although I couldn’t find the 10m swimming pool, there was however a 10m hot tub so we made very good use of that and the saunas and plunge pools. My only negative was the lighting in the room we stayed in (203) was very poor and it was difficult to get ready to attend an event we were going to. Also the room was overfurnished so space was limited. Should be an easy fix I would think. However we had a lovely stay and I would stay there again but perhaps request a different room"

My flight got delayed an extra day and I called the hotel two weeks in advance and they said they could not work with me because I bought it through Expedia. It was unfortunate. Once in the property things went well. However, keep in mind that you have no access to the lobby after 10 PM and before 8 AM. It’s more like a bed-and-breakfast than a hotel."
