"I was a little hesitant about staying outside a "major city," but I'm so glad we did. Very cute hotel and room. It was a short walk to the local town, which had lots of options for dinner and chianti tasting. "
"My friend and I had such a relaxing time at Relais!! We both got amazing massages from Natalie, the staff helped me figure out how to get to Rome after, the rooms were GORGEOUS, the pool was spectacular and got great poolside drinks, and the food/wine was the best!!! Stay here for a romantic and relaxing getaway surrounded by Tuscany’s beautiful rolling hills and vineyards. Would definitely come back!"
"A lovely retreat - quiet and serene. The grounds of the villa are amazing and all of the staff are lovely. Panzano is a short and scenic 20 minute walk away. We wish we could have stayed longer! "

Top Archaeological Museum of Chianti Hotel Reviews
Palazzo Squarcialupi
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is a beautiful ancient building in a very pretty Tuscan hill top town. The views from the terrace where you can have breakfast/dinner are amazing. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants in the beautiful old street the hotel fronts onto, so going out to eat was a breeze. The hotel has its own parking. Towels for the pool are provided. "
"We celebrated our honeymoon with our friends in this amazing villa. The Check In process & contacting the property manager was super easy. Half way through the week there was a change of towels and they even took some of the garbage with them (as the disposal was not easily accessible. The road to the villa is a bit adventurous, but all guests with all types if cars were able to make it to the villa. The many outdoor spaces are perfect for larger groups and thanks to the three seperate houses (all equipped with their own kitchen) each group has the option to retreat and have some time to themselves. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi was broken during our stay, this would have been nice for the cooler september nights. All in all we had an amazing stay! We hope to come back again maybe as our 5 year anniversary :)."
"The property is an expansive old estate with a lot of charm and privacy. Staff were wonderful and friendly. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Tuscany!"
"You can book with confidence as everything is as described and reviewed. We had a really nice relaxing stay, very peaceful and a fantastic location to visit the surrounding towns and villages, such beautiful countryside and friendly people. Most locations are within 30 minutes to an hour away, driving at the more sedate and safer speed required. Why rush your on holiday! We will have many happy memories of our stay.Thank you Daniele and family for a hassle free stay!"
"Staff were amazing and the hotel was absolutely lovely - pool was great! But main reason for this amazing review is all thanks to the staff - they were 10/10."
"Brilliant location, very easy access to village. Fantastic pool and garden for relaxation both of a very high standard. Check in was easy, kitchen and interior facilities were adequate. "
