"This little house was in a beautiful location, right in the forest. You can see the trees out of every window and skylight! We liked that this was private and a bit out of town. This was a good home base for seeing the redwoods and beaches both to the north and south. The beds were very cozy and we had everything we needed for our family of 6."

"What a great home right in downtown Arcata, the house was fully stocked with everything you’d need in both kitchen and bathroom. The yard was perfect, we grilled using the bbq so convenient right off the kitchen. What a gem!! Thank you, Amie"

"As good as it gets. The only issue was the fire siren going off from the public safety building nearby in the early hours of the Friday morning! But after a half-dozen 'blasts' it stopped and we went back to sleep-no harm done-just a surprise!"

"This was a beautiful ABB. The loft was so comfortable and cozy. Hade it's own private driveway with parking below the loft. About 18 wide stairs to the apartment. Bed was comfortable and cozy. This loft was so close to the ocean we were amazed.Thanks"

"Our stay was so fun! There was room for everyone and the house is quirky-cool and comfy. We loved walking around the neighbourhood. We saw goats! chickens! Red lizards! Friendly, fluffy doggos. Everything we needed for cooking was available. The beds are cozy and the shower on the bottom floor is the bee's knees. Best. Shower. Ever."

"This place is amazing. Very secluded and right on the river. Here are some protips - research river conditions beforehand. The Trinity was still experiencing peak run off conditions and was unswimmable and unfishable for the most part. Also, heed the hosts driving instructions that "strongly suggest" accessing the property from Willow Creek. Really, the host should change this to a requirement, not a suggestion. Even accessing from Willow Creek is a bit tricky and not for the faint of heart but...

"This place looks just as beautiful as the photos. The master bedroom is large, with high ceilings and large windows looking out on a gorgeous garden. It felt private and safe. It is extremely quiet. The hardwood floors and fixtures are all high quality. This place is a joy to stay in. I've stayed in plenty of vacation rentals with 5-star ratings that are NOT nice. This is why I was so glad to find that this rental is actually a nice place to be. Notes: The master bedroom doesn't have window...

"Very clean and quiet. It was easy to walk to Arcata and Cal Poly Humboldt. Plenty of shopping and dining with in easy walking distance and located in a nice neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Arcata!"
