Top Aquincum Museum and Ruin Garden Hotel Reviews
Chez Zeiza
10/10 Excellent
"Is a very nice Cozy little spot I really liked the design Beds are confortable friendly stuff nice breakfast it was perfect"
Ensana Grand Margaret Island
10/10 Excellent
"I highly recommend this lovely property, especially for the price! Staff are very kind and helpful, and the pool areas are just lovely! We had an insane heatwave during our stay and relaxing in the pool on the roof was a must! My teenagers loved the breakfast buffet as did I! The island is quiet and green and a bit “off” if you’re doing a lot of the tourist sights but the bus is close to the hotel and will connect you to anything! We did that every day. The only downside is that it’s not easy to find a restaurant outside of the hotel for (later) dinners. But again, if you are willing to take the bus you’ll be fine. I’d happily stay here again!"
PRIME STAY BUDAPEST
8/10 Good
"Slightly tired decor but perfectly serviceable and staff helpful. Nice little apartment all in all"
Park Plaza Budapest
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent Danube river view, great location, walking distance from the Parliament, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spacey, bathrooms can use some update, especially the bathtub is an accident about to happen during showers."
Ensana Thermal Margaret Island
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is located on Margaret Island offering an escape from the city. The property was well maintained. During our stay, I noticed a tile dislodged in one of the Thermal pools. I highlighted this to staff. During the evening, the pool was emptied, the whole area around the dislodged tile was re-tiled, cleaned and refilled by 9am the next morning. Excellent service. The food in the hotel was of good quality and reasonably priced. Spa and outdoor pool were great, however later in the day can get busy. If you go at opening, it’s possible to have the spa area to yourself. Only a few negatives, bottled water isn’t replenished each day, it’s just complimentary on arrival. Tea bags not replenished everyday, however, I’m sure if you ask, they will do this with pleasure. Overall nice stay."
Four Points By Sheraton Budapest Danube
10/10 Excellent
"We booked a room overlooking the Danube, this was a beautiful view - the whole stay was excellent, the staff were exceptional. There was enough close by and in walking distance to eat and drink. The only downside was there was no local transport close to the hotel but Uber's were cheap enough to get to the city centre (less than £10 per ride)"
Adina Apartment Hotel Budapest
10/10 Excellent
"What a joy. Polite informed welcome. Big Aldi just around the corner for week’s shop. Apartment expansive. Kitchen kitted out with halogen hot plates/oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Compact bathroom with tub and shower, separate loo. All recently renovated. Double bed with TV. Separate big screen in lounge. Small balcony with table and chairs. 17m pool. Fantastic big jacuzzi. Hidden upstairs sauna. Tired gym but ok. Location great for us. Quiet. 30 min walk into district v tourist old town. 5 mins away from metro. Easy walking distance to city park, thermal spas, Margaret island and Danube. A cracking apartment, excellent value with fabulous space. Definitely recommend it. Thank you to wonderful team at Adina for perfect holiday."
SmartApart Óbuda
10/10 Excellent
"It was a very nice and modern apartment in a quiet area, with fast wifi and all the necessities. Great bathroom and furnishings. Nice little patio and free coffee pods with creamer -- excellent (other than the eternal plastic waste). You may have to hunt for information sometimes, like where the laundry room is (in the garage, available for guests after 15:30). Overall, it's a great option for the area. Pro tip: Weeknight prices are much cheaper than weekends. I saw a review complaining about the staff, but the cleaning lady was very friendly to me and helpful. She was generous with supply refills and towels. The electric blackout curtains and firm mattress were amazing for me. You can make the entire apartment pitch black in daytime with the press of a few buttons -- incredibly helpful for restful sleep. Bravo! Closing the windows cuts out nearly all outdoor noise, which is generally low anyway. My upstairs neighbors stomped around sometimes, which was a bit loud even with concrete ceilings/floors. This is unfortunately common and a matter of luck. Otherwise, it was very peaceful and a great place to rest or get work done. I would stay here again."
