"I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The reception staff were very kind and helpful, and the hotel is stylish, neat, and tidy. The breakfast was also very tasty."

"Parking was difficult, I think as it was a Sunday afternoon when we arrived. We later managed to move our car nearer to the hotel. Room was pleasant with view of the castle to the rear. It did get a little noisy when they emptied the bins but quiet other than that. Breakfast is brought to your table. Nice choice of fruit, yoghurt, toast with eggs, or tostada with tomatoes, tuna, ham, jams, fruit juice and coffee. We enjoyed exploring the front, the Péñedes de San Cristóbal, the Castle de San Miguel (beware it’s closed on Mondays) the Parque de Majuelo and the Tourist Information building. The corner promenade was being refurbished but looking forward to a return visit to see it completed in the future."

"Great view from our room. Lovely to sit on balcony overlooking the sea (very close). Wish they had 100% cotton sheets as the mixed fibres ones make me itch. Wish room temp more controllable. Should have walk in showers. Indoor pool and jacuzzi really good."

"We love this hotel! This was our third time at Arrayanes Playa Hotel. The location and beach view is perfect. Being on the edge of town gives greater choices for the beach and is just outside of the paid parking zone. We even played ping pong in the recreation room. The staff is friendly and very helpful."

"Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a I. Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars. Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated. Buffet food was good, plenty to choose. And plenty of booze too. Would defo recommend to families, couples and anyone else for that matter. To the staff thank you for working hard. And to the 2 pensioners scrapping in the bingo hall. Naughty boys!! "

"We had a lovely relaxing stay here. The view was fabulous and we enjoyed our time by the pool. Juan was great at answering our questions both before and during our stay, and was on hand when there were minor things that needed looking at. The walk up from the beach/restaurants is fairly steep but not too long (15 mins) and although looked daunting initially we actually all found it ok. The accommodation itself was basic but fine for our needs and the air con was much appreciated. The only slight negative was that there were a lot of ants, which meant you had to be really careful to cover/seal any food well, but to be expected I guess in a rural location in the height of summer and we managed ok."

"Be careful before you book about the check - in and check - out time because it is very unusual which is 4pm and 10am, when you are inn make sure to lock the door from inside as maybe the owner open the door and invade your privacy, plus is not sure to find place at the parking, plus the AC water drips inside the bedroom, and finally we asked to have queen or king bed and we got 2 small twins beds on wheels which kept moving all night. "
