"What we liked about our stay….everything!! We loved our bed!! Was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on!! Food was delicious and you just can’t ask for more. Everything was so clean and staff was great…from the ladies at check in to the bartender at 5:30…and the ladies at breakfast were all so nice and helpful! They all seemed to enjoy their jobs and seemed to enjoy people! Can’t wait to come again!! This was a little last minute get away to relax and that’s exactly what we did!! I didn’t want to leave. We intend to come again to this same location soon!!"

"The only thing I would say needed work was the yard/landscaping. Needs trimming and weeding. It made us wonder if we were at right location at first. It would look much more inviting if the front had good landscaping. As for the houses themselves the were great. James does a great job, very welcoming and takes care of all your needs. Rooms are great. Great service."

"We had a 3 night stay at The Respite and it was wonderful! It was peaceful and relaxing, and oh so beautiful! The staff was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Breakfast was a treat and the location was very convenient; an easy walk to the National Quilt Museum, the Riverwalk and the vibrant downtown area. Staying at The Respite was the highlight of our visit!"
