Perfect Stay
Everything about this home is perfect. When we checked in it was very clean all of the windows and doors are very secure and we felt very safe. The view is absolutely incredible from the second floor and beautiful views from the ground floor. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner at night we mostly went out to lunch so we could cook in with small children in the evenings. All of the surrounding bays and cliffs were gorgeous to walk and we even saw a few monkeys run by. I will choose to stay here when I return to Barbados for sure.

Great House, Great Host, Great Location
Wonderful trip from the moment we arrived. Peter is as great as everyone said. Had fridge loaded with goodies. Home is spotless. Two beautiful secluded beaches within a short walk. Sat and watched lots of birds/hummingbirds, and monkeys!! Right in our backyard. Our favorite restaurant, Le Shack is only a few kilometers. We will be back!!!

Barbados vacation
The Villa was very nice, everything was as described on the website. Peter was a fantastic host, he insured we had the info we needed to get to the Villa easily and was waiting to great us when we got there and gave a thorough walkthrough of the property and had a great starter grocery set up in fridge for us. The pool was very clean well taken care of and it was nice to have access whenever you felt like taking a dip. The bedrooms were large, clean and comfortable with an ensuite in each. The views from the balcony of the master bedroom and second bedroom were amazing. You do need a car rental if you want to get around to go out for meals and explore the island, otherwise it would cost a fortune in taxis to get around.

Relaxing stay
Lovely villa and perfect for a get away from it all stay. Stunning views, quiet location, lovely pool area meant for a really relaxing stay. Car is needed so you can explore the island, but great getting back to such a lovely, relaxing house once we were finished exploring each day. Peter was the perfect host meeting us on arrival at the house and leaving us some welcome provisions, all in all a really great stay in a beautiful location

Bottom Bay retreat
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing property in Bottom Bay. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and impeccable property. Not only was the location perfect for exploring the surrounding, but the amenities made our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook with the fridge packed with basic food supplies by Peter and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. One highlight of property was the outdoor space we spent many evenings enjoying the private pool, listening to the crashing waves. It truly felt like a retreat. A little oasis
So nice to receive a phone call from Peter as we were driving to the villa. He just wanted to make sure that we were are our way and didn’t get lost, he stayed on the phone as he gave us directions. We were so pleasantly surprised to see the location, beautiful view of the crashing waves as they pounded the shore. Walking in was like seeing the exact description as it was on VRBO. Very well appointed, everything you would ever want. Peter showed us around explaining all details of the house and pool, fridge packed with breakfast and refreshments. The pool was stunning, Now some advise for Barbados, car is a must, Bajan car rentals met us at the airport, use WAZE app as gps. Visit Animal Cave & Restaurant, Bathsheba for lunch at The Round House for specular views, then Conset Bay on the way back. Don’t miss Friday fish day at St. Lawerence Market, all the tourist shops in Hole Town, then lunch at l’Azure restaurant in The Crane Resort, Saturday BBQ chicken/ribs just up the street up from the villa. Don’t wait till duty free at the airport, real rip off, shop in Hole Town or at The Crane. The Villa was everything we could ask for, Peter is so obliging.

Magnificent location and beautiful home
This house is everything it is advertised to be, only the photos cannot do it justice. The ocean is actually close enough to hear the waves crashing. There are actually two beaches within walking distance: Bottom Bay and Harris Smith. The garden around the pool is beautiful and private. The owner was kind and accommodating and lives just down the street. You need a car but if you are independent types who like a location off the beaten path, this is a lovely choice. Very peaceful with grass fields and a few cows and horses and goats grazing by the sea.

Fantastic villa and stunning location
Large villa and very well equipped for a comfortable stay. All the bathrooms are a great size, shower room on ground floor next to the pool is good. The pool is a good size. Upstairs balcony is fab to sit out in a morning with amazing views. The covered area outside is good for day use and evening dinning. Good restaurants less than 10 minutes away. Large supermarket located at six roads is 15 minutes away. Oistins fish fry on friday and Saturdays is 20 minutes away. Peter your host is on hand if you need him. We would definitely stay in this villa again.

Had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful property!
Just returned from a wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Bottom Bay (Nov 11-18). We were 4 adults (2 couples) traveling together and this home had everything we needed. Spacious, clean, fully equipped, comfortable beds and a lovely backyard with a pool overlooking the ocean across the way. It was quiet and away from all the hustle and bustle...which is exactly what we wanted when we booked. Bottom Bay beach is beautiful and just a few minute walk from the house. We had a car rental for the week (a must in this location). There was a grocery store, take out food, restaurants etc all nearby. Peter is an absolutely wonderful host and super warm and genuine...a very kind man. He without hesitation accommodated us as our flight home kept getting delayed on departure day and allowed us to remain at the house rather than having to go sit at the airport for an extended period of time. We had a great stay and felt very at home. Thank you for everything Peter!

Amazing villa in beautiful Barbados
We enjoyed ourselves so much at Peter's lovely villa in Bottom Bay. Everything is well stocked and in excellent condition. There are many thoughtful touches; plenty of towels, a cooler, pool noodles and a float, an awesome laundry room (can you tell I'm a vacationing mom??). We had some travel delays on our way to Barbados and Peter was very gracious and responsive to all my communications since we arrived a day late. He stocked the refrigerator with some provisions which was very helpful on our first day while we were getting settled. The pool is great! My kids loved it and swam every morning and night after our day's adventures. The beds are comfortable, the AC units work well. The views of the ocean from the verandah are gorgeous. You really have everything you need for an excellent trip! The nearby beach is stunning but not swimmable with young kids so we did tour around most days. However, with a rental car this villa is truly a gem and an excellent base for a Bajan holiday!

Best vacation ever
Sunburst 7 Villa is the ideal place to enjoy a vacation in Barbados. The villa is well equipped, spacious for a family or group of friends, and is in the perfect location - a two minute walk from the secluded and beautiful Bottom Bay Beach! Peter was the perfect host - very communicative leading up to our stay, incredibly friendly and helpful upon check-in, and hospitable during our stay - making sure we were settled in and enjoying our visit. He was accommodating of our special request to check out a bit later than planned and met us to say goodbye. We’d certainly look forward to staying at Sunburst 7 Villa again in the future!

Quiet retreat
We had a wonderful time in Saint Philip. The home was exactly what we needed for a quiet get away to a tropical destination. It was very clean and spacious and contained everything we needed including beach towels and a cooler which we used daily. We rented a car and had never driven on the other side of the road before not to mention all the round about and really had no idea where we were going but Peter bet us out front when he knew we were close with a warm welcome. The views were amazing and the quiet non hustle bustle allowed for a relaxing retreat after a day at Carsile Bay (where the staff at Harbor Lights got to know us and called us by name ). The locals in tje neighbourhood were so friendly and welcoming and happy to invite you to their neighbourhood party or chat with you about the area and local hot spots. We felt welcome from day one. Peter was very pleasant and helpful and was there to answer any questions we had within minutes. It is not in the tourist busy part of the island so travel is necessary but we enjoyed the adventures and the scenery while driving around the island (which isn’t big ). Crane beach is 11 minutes away at the Hilton resort and Carlisle Bay aboht 20 min by car. We did the bay because there is great snorkeling and the kids could swim without concern. Enterprise beach was very nice but the waves when we were there were quite large. Bottom Bay is beautiful and a 4 min walk but you most defiantly can’t swim the swells were 10 feet plus but a great place to walk in the morning and enjoy a coffee on the very secluded beach. We would love to go back and enjoy Peter’s hospitality and more of what Barbados has to offer.

West Coast Villa
Windy! East coast is often breezy!! Great Villa. Excellent standard of everything within Villa. Generous provision of basic foodstuffs for those who have a late arrival. Well equipped kitchen. Super clean. Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms fine. Super host. Inviting pool with poolside loungers. Sun works around the house but always sunny areas to bask. Flowers surround the garden, all flowering during our visit. Humming birds visit the gardens frequently.

Absolutely wonderful stay. We were 3 couples and it was perfect. Everyone had their own bathroom and private room. The views were amazing. Bottom Bay Beach was a short walk and gorgeous. It was a bit of a drive to restaurants and other beaches so you will need a car. Barbados is a stunning island. We hope to return very soon.

Amazing Property
First off Peter was incredibly kind and generous with his time helping us get settled and responding quickly with any questions we had. Traveling these days is complicated and Peter made things easier for us. Truly 5 star service. The property is very clean, well equipped and safe. Bottom Bay Beach is probably the nicest beach on the Island (we saw a lot of them) and it’s a 5 minute walk. Views of the ocean are stunning from the second floor balcony. It is a bit far from the “action” but we liked that. 10 min drive to Crane beach for some great boogie boarding or 15 to 20 mins to the west coast for gentler surf. You will need a car but driving here is fine. Just takes a day to get used to the narrow roads and roundabouts.

We don’t want to leave!!
This is our last day here, we have had an amazing time. The villa is absolutely spotless, rooms are spacious and the views from the balcony are breathtaking. The pool was great, couldn’t keep my daughter out of it! Peter was really helpful, even whilst we were still in the UK communication was brilliant and he always replied to messages promptly. Would recommend hiring a car if you are here though as it is a bit out the way. We actually enjoyed the peace and was nice to experience a stay on the east coast (we normally stay west). Would highly recommend the villa and would definitely return. Thank you for having us. Barbados, we will be back :)

Beautiful home and host.
We had a wonderful 12 days at Peters villa, it was gorgeous and absolutely what we wanted. The property is well appointed as well as spotlessly clean. Three lovely bedrooms and a spacious living area downstairs as well as a lovely outdoor pool that was a really nice size and depth. The view from the rear of the property (both pool area and the top floor balcony) was fantastic, you could watch the breakers on the reef out to sea. You wanted for nothing facility wise as everything was there, massive TV down to pizza cutter and everything inbetween. Peter the host was there when we arrived, he has perfected the ability to be there if you need him but not imposing himself on your holiday, he is perfect. He showed us round the villa and pointed out all the useful things to know and then came to wave us off as well, so much nicer than a drop box, we definitely made a good friend. In terms of location, the villa is five minutes walk from Bottom Bay beach which is stunning, it's in a quiet neighborhood which felt very safe, the locals that we met were very friendly, one even nipped to his house for some Aloe Vera from his garden for sunburn which we had managed to get. We hired a car for the duration and I think that's for the best, buses do run at the top of the road but the shops were ten minutes drive away and restaurants also a drive, there were some decent takeaways a few minutes away as well. if you want a peaceful break with everything you need to hand and a lovely host to look after you, this is the place for you.

We loved the house and pool, we had everything we needed. Peter was such a great owner he is right here when you need him. The only thing we would change is having this house closer to a beach where you can swim. But overall we had the best time.

Practically Perfect
Spotless, spacious, very comfortable. Beautiful location. Fantastic views. Constant cooling breeze. High quality furnishings. Great hosts - very responsive and helpful. Beaches,, grocery stores, restaurants and rum shacks close by but you will need a car. We would definitely recommend! Very minor point to note - if you are travelling with other adult couples - master bedroom is significantly bigger and more comfortable than the other 2. 2nd room has twin beds and double bed in 3rd room is quite small. We got around this by tossing a coin for master bedroom then swapping half way through.

Great place to stay
We were met by Peter on arrival who was extremely warm and welcoming. The villa was clean and very comfortable with a small welcome pack in the fridge. We spent most of our time in the villa relaxing. The area is very quiet so perfect for us. You will need a car to get around as you are away from the main tourist areas and restaurants. There is a supermarket at Six Roads which sells local and imported products. Peter lives over the road so is on hand if you need him. Would recommend the villa for a great relaxing holiday in Barbados

Would definitely return!
We have just enjoyed a wonderful week at this villa. The house is beautifully maintained, very clean, well equipped and extremely comfortable. The constant ocean breeze is so refreshing and we weren't bothered at all by mosquitos. This was our third visit to Barbados and we always stay on the east coast, preferring the quiet and more rugged coast line. Bottom Bay beach is stunning and a very short stroll from the villa, but not for swimming, although it is still possible to cool off in the waves at the shoreline. It is especially nice in the late afternoon/evening. For safe swimming we love Enterprise (Miami) beach near Oistins, which is about a 20 minute drive. Crane beach is also worth a visit and only a 5-10 minute drive. We explored the whole island a lot more on our first visit, but this time were happy to stay very local. The villa with it's outdoor terraces, cooling breeze and pool is such a nice place to relax that it doesn't feel necessary to always be out and about. The owner was always very prompt with correspondence. We didn't need anything or have any problems during our stay, but we knew he was easily contactable and close by should anything come up.

Ideal family vacation spot
Beautiful views and plenty of room for the entire family. Peter was great, he met us (5 adults, my 9 yr old daughter, and an infant )on arrival, showed us all the amenities and left us to relax. Have a question? He got back to me within the hour. Great location away from the hustle and bustle yet only a 15min. Drive to the grocery store and 25min to Oistins ( a must on Friday night).The beach is only a short walk and is quite secluded. I would definitely recommend Sunburst 7 for family or groups of friends looking to enjoy a quiet get away or explore some of the natural wonders of this most wonderful island.

Wonderful cool villa

The property is exactly as pictured and described with Fabulous Views of the Ocean.
My wife and i had a wonderful stay at Peter's Property at Bottom Bay. The house was extremely clean as were the grounds and pool area. Lots of room within the house and all of the amenities that one would need while on vacation. Peter was kind enough to provide a starter kit to our vacation with milk, eggs, OJ, cheese and of course a 6 pack of Banks which was much appreciated after a day of travelling. Bottom Bay Beach is only a 1 minute walk down the road where you can enjoy the white sand and there were chairs to rent if you wanted to. If you are looking for quiet and relaxation this is the place for you. If you are looking for a more touristy area then you will need a car and drive to either the southern part of the island or the West Coast. We rented a car and except for one day we visited Bottom Bay, we were out visiting the island. A new beach every day and we took a change of clothes with us in case we found a spot for dinner before heading home. Two nights we ate at the Crane Resort, a short 10 minute drive. Both L'Azure and D'Onofrio's Trattoria were excellent. Two nights we drove over to St Lawrence Gap and ate at Primo. The food was fabulous including their fresh fish and pizza. If you want to mingle with some of the locals and tourists who stay for a couple of months during this season visit Cafe Sol. We had lunch at various spots on the West coast including Zaccios in Holetown, St James as well as other various beach places. We also had dinner at Round House which further north on the East coast about a 30 minute drive and then visited again on Saturday for live music from noon to 3. The food in Barbados we found to be outstanding and reasonably priced. Coming from the States, driving took a day or so to get used to but the locals are very patient if you happen to make a mistake. Use Google Maps and enjoy the entire island and all is have to offer. I enjoyed Peter,and his home and will certainly be back to Barbados. You will not be disappointed in staying here whether you want relaxation or use it as a Hub for touring the island. Thank you Peter for a wonderful stay in Barbados.

Beautiful villa only 3 houses from Bottom Bay Beach.
Peter and Connie were the prefect hosts. If there was anything we needed, they made sure we got it and insured we were happy on our holiday. We even spent a couple of evenings with them and had a great time. Awesome view of the ocean from the second floor terrace. The villa is very clean and nicely laid out. Highly recommended.

The property and view are first class!
Sunburst is a lovely villa. The location to Bottom Bay and the south-east coast is perfect. The villa is well furnished and kitchen has everything you would need. Peter the host is very attentive and very quick to respond to any queries. I highly recommend Sunburst; we had a wonderful time there.

Relaxing
This villa was the perfect spot for a Relaxing holiday, the breeze from the Ocean was refreshing. Kept us cool and there were no Mosquitoes. Lots of space for a large family.

Great Place to Stay
The host Peter was great and very attentive he even provided transportation to and from the airport. The house is nice and clean and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend staying here if ever in Barbados!

Beautiful house and pool, extraordinarily gracious and helpful host
Owner Peter Clarke deserves a hospitality award. From our first email interactions with him regarding booking, he was consistently responsive and helpful - including navigating some frustrating currency conversion challenges. He not only met us at the airport on arrival and drove with us to the property; he made a special trip to the airport on our departure day to return a pair of glasses that had been left behind. He was also patient and prompt about responding to queries while we were there, and referred us to very knowledgeable and reliable taxi driver Andy. The house is pretty, spacious and well appointed, with a bathroom for each bedroom, and the pool is a great, refreshing temperature with a very welcome, breezy covered deck area for escaping the sun. We are a senior couple with some mobility issues and would have preferred to be closer to the beach. We also found the house location somewhat isolated; a car is really a necessity. Apart from those items, we had an excellent, restorative experience and we commend Peter for his commitment to guest service.

Beautiful and Spacious Getaway
We rented this house with another family. There were a total of 6 of us. Our 12 year old daughters shared a room. It was a great experience. Peter is Amazing !!! He met us at the airport, waited for us to get our rental van and escorted us to the property. The house was ready for us with some essentials and some ice cold Banks Beers ! We had slight problem with our icemaker and Peter brought over a bag of ice in minutes. (He lives quite close and responded very quickly to any questions we had). The house is very spacious and provided us with a lot of room and privacy. The area is away from the hustle and bustle of The West Coast where all the tourists and cruise line passengers frequent. If you want the "touristy area" then I would suggest you rent on the west coast. If you want some privacy and peace then I highly recommend this house. Each bedroom is quite large and each has its own bathroom. The pool, deck and balcony are all great and there is a BBQ for some outdoor grilling. There is an ocean view and it is a very quick walk to a remote beach. We practically had the beach to ourselves. There were also a few locals selling drinks and crafts by the beach. The house is very modern and very tastefully decorated. I could absolutely stay in this house for a long time. The allure of the remoteness and privacy could also be a problem for some as it is a long way from Bridgetown and the beaches of the West Coast. Driving to Bridgetown can be an adventure if you try to go in the morning as Barbados traffic has two speed.....fast and bumper to bumper. A 30 minute drive can turn into 1.5 hours really quick depending on the time of day. The only concern for us at the property was the wind. When we were there the wind was abnormally high ....even the locals were complaining about it but one should be prepared for it to be a bit breezy. There is a large open field right beside the property where a couple cows graze and we saw monkeys checking out the fruit trees in the yard on a few occasions. You need to rent a vehicle if you rent this property and plan on going anywhere. The local grocery store is ok and about 10 to 15 minutes away. Bottom Bay is beautiful as is Crane Beach. There is fun drive up the East Coast to the Bathsheba and Bath Beach area. 4 Square Rum factory is also very close and is free to tour !!!!! Thank you Peter for inviting us into this home!!!

Beautiful home!
Beautiful home. Perfect for all 5 of us. Peter and his wife were wonderful hosts! They left us beer and everything we would need to start us out which was perfect as we arrived so late. Peter was so kind to meet us and arrange transport to the house seeing that it was too late to pick up our rental vehicle. Thanks so much for making our vacation truly relaxing. The Baker’s and friends oh and yes The recommendation to champers was superb!

Wonderful house and a helpful owner
The house is very beautiful. There is everything you need to have a great vacation. When we arrived, we had no car and no way to get to a restaurant or the grocery store. Fortunately, Peter, the owner, had stocked the fridge with some beers and everything we needed for breakfast the next morning. He even took us to a restaurant. Peter is an owner who really takes care of his renters. We had a marvelous time at his house and in Barbados! Thank you so much Peter! Catherine and Philippe and the others!

Relaxing home in the countryside
A real getaway for relaxing I could have read 20 novels on the 2nd floor balcony with the view. If you like having fun in the waves this is the spot. About 10 min from 6 crossroads were you can get pretty much all your needs. Peter is a great host and lives just around the corner. Thanks Peter.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Apple Hall. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet - an alles ist gedacht. Der Strand Bottom Bay ist einer der schönsten der Insel. Wir sind abends gelandet und hatten noch kein Auto gemietet. Nicht nur hat Peter uns vom Flughafen abgeholt, auch der Kühlschrank war bereits mit einer Grundausstattung gefüllt! Weiterhin war Peter uns mit der Autovermietung behilflich, sodass wir bereits am nächsten Vormittag mobil waren. Vielen Dank Peter!

Haus sehr sauber und vollkommen equipped. Sehr geräumig und ohne Frage ausreichend für 6 und sehr komfortabel für 4 Personen. Pool in sehr gutem Zustand sowie ständiger Kontrolle (2-3x per Woche) auf Wunsch kommt 1x per Woche ein Hausservice. Bilder sind authentisch aber wirken in Wirklichkeit besser. Alle technischen Geräte waren einwandfrei, BBQ besaß ausreichend Gas, es war an ALLES gedacht. Peter ist sehr angenehmer freundlicher Mensch und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ein Auto braucht man aber, Bottom Bay ist 70 m entfernt und ein Bilderbuch Strand, leider mit etwas Plastikmüll verschmutzt aber nicht sehr. Das Haus und Peter als Host können wir zu 100 % empfehlen
