Compass Hotel by Margaritaville

Compass Hotel by Margaritaville

"I think for the price. They could do a little more for their guests. Leave a coffee bar out all day. Maybe put out coffee and drinks for the guests after 3:00… Drury dies so much better in the area of guest customer service…I chose this hotel because of the pools. The walk up bar service open all day for food and drinks. In the winter I’m going back to Drury. They offer so much more for the guests after…After 5, free food, drinks, etc!!! Drury is very clean, the rooms match pretty closely as far as niceness goes. They just don’t have balconies…With Drury there are no amenity fees. Not sure why Compass charges this. They really don’t offer anything extra than what you pay for."

The Park Vista - a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Gatlinburg

"The room was relatively clean, the beds were comfortable and freshly made but the floors didn't seem vacuumed. I found some old popcorn under the desk. The furniture was a little old and scraped up and needed two be dusted but the bathroom was really nice. The amenities themselves were nice. The building and the area around it was super clean and the lobby was nice . Having the bar and the restaurants in the lobby was really nice and convenient. The breakfast was good. It was a little weird though, I ordered the same thing two days in a row and they were different. Could have been different chefs but on the first day I got three pancakes with a cup of whipped cream, a cup of strawberries and a cup of syrup and on the second day I got two pancakes with no whip cream and no strawberries. Our server the second day wasn't very friendly but our server the first day, Sindi, was super friendly and very efficient. Overall it was a decent stay. It was very convenient to everything and the Mountain View was spectacular. Just a note for anyone reading this a lot of people were talking about the Bears and how they thought they would attack them. I don't think they will, just stay away from them and lock your car doors. And do yourself a favor don't eat outside at the restaurants."

"Harrah's Hotel in Casino is a great place to unwind and gamble. The Hotel as both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a Spa, and an arcade area as well. Their is two areas to choose from: the Mountain and the Socco hotel. I have stayed in both and both are very well maintained. My wife and I enjoy the casino games that are available, I only wish they had Bingo, that's the one game that isn't available."

"The staff at check-in were wonderful and very welcoming. However, the bathroom had hair on the floor, and the extra sheets in the drawers were dirty. Overall, though, the hotel is beautiful and in a great location."
