"It was such a lovely haven while we were displaced from our home due to storm damage...the fireplace added instant atmosphere and the train carriage is so cute. The pre-cut firewood and homemade jams etc, were an unexpected bonus. Thanks so much - recommend to anyone! "

"There is no fencing but I was staying only one night so I was able to make it work for my dog. Too much stuff in such a small space and it smelled odd. I am not sure it was value for the money."

The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. I always reccommend Totara Lodge when friends and family mention wanting to find lodging near Wellington and have yet to hear any bad reviews from them either!"
