"We are very familiar with this area having stayed many times in the area and previously owned an apartment here. Generally, the accommodation in Mt Maunganui is fine although the beds are always too hard for us, a NZ problem compared with other countries it seems. However, this apartment is the one we rate highly with comfortable beds and a great location. The only minor blip was that the heat pump was not operational. We would be happy to return here.Most enjoyable."
